Our wait time was shorter than expected. Haig was very polite, knowledgeable and a clear concise communicator. He was able to assist me in a timely manner and knew exactly how to answer my question. Also gave me support for the secured email. We are very appreciative of Investor's Edge customer service and marvel at the expertise and friendliness of the worker's.

Recently I was unable to make a trade on an account. The problem was a missing form at the time the account was opened. Hitesh was very helpful in identifying the problem and eventually making sure the form reached the right people in the documentation division. He was courteous, helpful, responsive and efficient. It is rare to find people who take personal responsibility . Thanks to him the problem is resolved in a timely manner. Thank you Hitesh

Overall the website is great. The only thing i dislike is that i have no excess if i am out of country and do not have my canadian cellphone number with me to get confirmation. They do not send you confirmations through email.

The holdings in my investor edge account not reflecting accurate according to live stock price. I have noticed often my account holdings price went down, but the market price went up. Be careful and don’t trust CIBC. Called agent in past but he couldn’t even addressed my concerns and I asked him to escalate to client care but never received any call from CIBC for my concerns. The customer service is very poor. It’s very hard to hold a customer service representative. I think they are incompetent now.

This will be dual edged. Although there was a 40 minute wait on hold to speak to an actual person regarding my entire investment portfolio, AND online chat wasn't working AND then there being no physical locations to speak with Investors Edge, this is not good. As a long time client, a 2/5 for that one. THAT BEING SAID, once you do connect with someone on the Investors Edge team it becomes one if the most helpful customer service experiences ever.
