Our wait time was shorter than expected. Haig was very polite, knowledgeable and a clear concise communicator. He was able to assist me in a timely manner and knew exactly how to answer my question. Also gave me support for the secured email. We are very appreciative of Investor's Edge customer service and marvel at the expertise and friendliness of the worker's.
I had a great call with the agent Haig he was super helpful was very patient, took the time to walk me step by step without any hesitation, I had called previously quite some time ago and the agent was not as patient and more or less did not seem that interseted in helping. I hope he is recognized for this.
The holdings in my investor edge account not reflecting accurate according to live stock price. I have noticed often my account holdings price went down, but the market price went up. Be careful and don’t trust CIBC. Called agent in past but he couldn’t even addressed my concerns and I asked him to escalate to client care but never received any call from CIBC for my concerns. The customer service is very poor. It’s very hard to hold a customer service representative. I think they are incompetent now.
When I needed to be help, the person on the other side would guide me step by step on how to do it, more than once. When my bank couldn't open an account with IE (due to lack of experience), the guy from IE did it for me distantly over the phone.
Investor Edge is a nice and easy to use trading platform for regular traders. I love it’s ability to filter the portofolio, and the fact I can use my HELOC to bring funds and trade within 5-10 minutes. My assesment comes after using other 4 platforms as follows: 1. IBKR has more features, but is more difficult for me to understand and use Money trasfer to IBKR is unreasonably long. 2.
