The holdings in my investor edge account not reflecting accurate according to live stock price. I have noticed often my account holdings price went down, but the market price went up. Be careful and don’t trust CIBC. Called agent in past but he couldn’t even addressed my concerns and I asked him to escalate to client care but never received any call from CIBC for my concerns. The customer service is very poor. It’s very hard to hold a customer service representative. I think they are incompetent now.

This will be dual edged. Although there was a 40 minute wait on hold to speak to an actual person regarding my entire investment portfolio, AND online chat wasn't working AND then there being no physical locations to speak with Investors Edge, this is not good. As a long time client, a 2/5 for that one. THAT BEING SAID, once you do connect with someone on the Investors Edge team it becomes one if the most helpful customer service experiences ever. Really, not impressed. I placed a trade with CIBC Investor’s edge a couple weeks ago and saw that the expected $6.95 fee was applied to my transaction, however when the proceeds from the sale of stock hit my account, I found it was missing a full percent of the sale amount with no explanation. I tried phoning to talk to an associate, and have now been sitting on hold for 55 minutes waiting to talk to an agent. As far as Haig’s support, he was very professional. Now why the 3stars, had nothing to do with Haig. Over the recent years, I gets survey requests, fill them out, however, no feedback. More importantly no performance improvement in areas of consistent performance such front performing. Lack of training is apparent, wait times on phone are longer, too many levels of security requests before I can talk to a “live” body. I can go on, hopefully you got a little idea of my thoughts. Absolutely incredible how bad this experience has been. I have stocks in a holding company which does not have a license in Canada, so I asked to have it transferred to CIBC. After finally getting the correct information I filled out both forms at a branch, had two employees verify it, gave them my Original DRS advice and didn't hear from Investors Edge for 2 weeks. Once I followed up they are asking for a tracking number of a package that a Branch sent. Of course I don't have it, the Branch sent it off. Whenever I email I... read more
