If I could’ve given zero stars I would have. My fiance and I went through a self tour this last Sunday. We fell in love with a home (early attached emotions I know.) However this home had been listed/available for the last 70 days. Not a convenient location for really anyone, but we loved it. Listen to the reviews and don't rent from this company. If you check trustpilot, yelp, google, 98% of the reviews are negative. If you are desperate, just be patient, pray, and keep looking because HOME RIVER GROUP is a scam. I rented from them for 1 year. They found a way to keep my 3100 security deposit, charging me for things that already needed fixing prior to me signing the lease. I was charged double garbage fees each month. I live next to a house that is rented by homeriver group Boise and contacted them about a tree that was on one of their rentals was told they would but in a work ticket. After contacting 7 times and 4 months later I took matters into my own hands and cut it down costing me time and money but figured it was better than damaging my house. They do not communicate or follow thru on anything sure am glad I don’t rent from them and would never have them manage one of my properties.

Had a really good experience with prompt responses to view rentals, transferring applications from a rental that went pending to an available rental, and revising an application when necessary, and the application underwriter was so fast reviewing and approving the application. The process was pretty seamless!

I am thankful I have had a very smooth process renting from this property management company. The way they do things is unique, it’s all online which can be confusing at times. But thankfully, any problems I’ve had or concerns, my property manager Derek Fritz has been super helpful, patient, and understanding. I always hear back quickly and I’ve never had an issue that wasn’t resolved in a timely manner. Thank you!!
