I would not recommend this property management company to anyone. We were disappointed time after time with this company. We had many issues with our rental that we not resolved or when they tried to resolve them made the situation worse. This company lacks many things . One being able to get in contact with them. We weren’t ever able to get in contact with anyone until we had already moved out. I’m writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment with the property management I’ve received under HomeRiver, specifically regarding the complete lack of communication and follow-through from Brianna. From day one, the experience has been disorganized and stressful. We weren’t given our key until later in the day—despite paying for the entire move-in day—and when we were finally able to access the apartment, it was absolutely filthy and unprepared for a new tenant. UPDATE: they responded to this review and then deleted it a few days later? It was a very very very long response that could be summed up as "we didn't do that since we have policies in place". At one point they tried to argue they aren't difficult to reach and they even have an office in meridian. I know. I actually went once and the doors are all locked. I rang the doorbell until someone came down and they told me "we don't allow people without an appointment" when I asked if I could set one up she said no. I guess PR noti... read more
I live next to a house that is rented by homeriver group Boise and contacted them about a tree that was on one of their rentals was told they would but in a work ticket. After contacting 7 times and 4 months later I took matters into my own hands and cut it down costing me time and money but figured it was better than damaging my house. They do not communicate or follow thru on anything sure am glad I don’t rent from them and would never have them manage one of my properties.
HomeRiver Group is a great company. I have had the privilege to work with several employees over the years. My current contact, Vanessa Craft, has been excellent. Like her predecessors, she is professional, courteous and well-informed. I am very pleased with HomeRiver Group.
