I've never worked with a more unprofessional group of people throughout my career and through many apartment management companies I've used. The property manager for my apartment would disappear, not answer my requests, or information. A previous tenant left my unit in shambles and HomeRiver never went into my unit to do inspections. I’ve been in this house for 6 years never experienced anything like this before.Lack of communication with property management. Ceiling in basement fell due to water leaking from ceiling. Molded old pipes nothing was replaced just put up a board. Now getting tub replaced it’s been over 2 months now. They hired a subcontractor and he installed the tub & tore the wall bathroom still not finished. Mold in laundry room sinkAll they do is come take pictures I’ve even sent them pictures.

Avoid this property management company. I used them for 5 years then discovered that the tenant they claimed in my monthly statement was in the Section 8 program had actually dropped out a year prior. They also failed to keep me informed about changes and didn’t ensure I was getting the best rent for my property. Additionally, they mishandled the tenant's eviction process. In short, their mismanagement forced me to switch to a different property management company.

I am extremely upset with the level of communication from Home Rivers and them taking care of what I feel are urgent matters within the home. We have been having issues with the plumbing in the home for almost two months. We have submitted numerous work orders for the issue only to keep being told they have to wait on approval to fix the problem.
