I've never worked with a more unprofessional group of people throughout my career and through many apartment management companies I've used. The property manager for my apartment would disappear, not answer my requests, or information. A previous tenant left my unit in shambles and HomeRiver never went into my unit to do inspections. I’ve been in this house for 6 years never experienced anything like this before.Lack of communication with property management. Ceiling in basement fell due to water leaking from ceiling. Molded old pipes nothing was replaced just put up a board. Now getting tub replaced it’s been over 2 months now. They hired a subcontractor and he installed the tub & tore the wall bathroom still not finished. Mold in laundry room sinkAll they do is come take pictures I’ve even sent them pictures.
I’ve been a multi fam owner since 2007. Rebecca Duncan is my prop Mngr. Best I’ve had since 07. On her Game. Responds quickly, good negotiator, great follow up. Best is she knows the rules and laws, keeps me out of trouble when I go off the rails. Tremendous asset to my portfolio.
HomeRiver Group has been managing my rental property for over 4 years now, and Rebecca Duncan is the property manager assigned to my unit. Rebecca is responsive, knows the Chicago market well, provides timely and good advice, and quicky addresses any issues. Rebecca is the best manager I have ever worked with from HomeRiver.
I am a renter with home river group, this is the most garbage company I have ever seen. We had RMK before which is miles better. They lack intelligence and the ability to respond to me at all. They also don't answer the phone during normal business hours.
