WORST RENTAL PLACE EVER! I thought my last management company was bad, but nobody tops Home River Group. We signed a lease and move into a home that home river had on the market. It was very clear that when we moved in that the house was not cleaned, repaired, or anything for that matter. When my wife and I moved in there were bugs all in the carpet, hair all over from the last previous tenants, and damage all over the house to walls, doors, latches, and too many more to count. If I could give them a negative review I would. If you care about your business and overall mental health, do not rent from HomeRiver or do business with them. I lived in my unit from 2016 without any issues—until they purchased the property. After that, I went without heat and water, and I even had tree branches nearly hit me in the head—large branches that could have seriously injured someone. The representative I spoke to today Maurice Martin was of excellent help today. I got behind on my rent because my wife went into labor and I haven’t had a chance to get to my computer or phone to pay rent. He told me to call when we get checked out and he will help get our late fee waived. Great customer service, and much appreciated help for me and my family! Thank you Maurice!
I want to give a review to Maurice H. who came out yesterday and filled a maintenance request for me that I would have thought it would have been a bigger and longer task that it was. Not only was he efficient at his job and work, he took care with my things, and took care to explain what he was doing, why, and made sure to keep my special needs son safe in the process. Maurice with maintenance was awesome. He came and fixed my sink and drawer with no issues at all after another person with maintenance failed TWICE to fix it correctly. An absolute professional he was and as nice as can be. 10/10 service.
