We rented with HomeRiver group from September 2025 to March 2026. Our apartment had severe black mold in several places. We put in multiple maintenance requests. All we ever heard back from them was that it was our fault. One time a maintenance person came to deal with it and just left a bottle of Killz on our counter for us... At one point they finally agreed to do a deep clean and then they never did. We terminated our lease due to health concerns associated with black mold and have yet to receive (or hear anything about) ... read more
As for Summit and My property manager Sheila Parker, I've been extremely satisfied. Sheila is prompt at handling anything you need her to. She's amazing!!
I have been working with HomRiver Group for two years, it has been a great experience! Sheila is wonderful! She always was great for communicating on anything and super helpful every time I needed anything. If there is anyone I would recommend it would definitely be Sheila !
I rented one of their rental properties for a year and a half. We had the hardest time getting ahold of our property manager for anything and when we did they weren't much help, usually telling us they would look into it or getting ahold of the owner and then never hearing back. Our roof was leaking and needed to be replaced and they never got it done, we had issues with mice and were told that it was our problem to deal with.
