Was my property manager for a bit under 2 years until I dropped them, opting to manage the property myself. It was more work managing Homeriver than working with the tenant directly - had to constantly remind them about things, etc. Further, for both years they messed up the 1099 due to sloppy accounting on their side (mixing up rents and utility payments). The 5 stars are all for CHAMPAGNE, the first human I was able to speak with after trying to contact Home River about a property via online forms and emails that were either returned undeliverable or received no response over the last week, nearly two. She was kind and helpful and did the most she could possibly do to have a local agent reach out to me. The local agent wasn’t unavailable (It is after business hours here, 7pm- so understandable.)
