This is a joke waiting for a Vendor for two months for repairs to the fence. Ac unit broken due to the storm, fishing for vendors while my family sitting in 90 plus degree temperature Here in Houston,Tx. You call for issue @ the property and the call get outsourced out the Country, meanwhile they’re fishing for the cheapest bid for vendors to come out. Homeriver you have to do Better! Unparalleled responsiveness to maintenance needs! This the Company Statement!

The apartment is beautiful after being renovated, has some cosmetic issues but other than that it seems to be well maintained. Unfortunately in the add it says potentially a $0 deposit. However I paid almost $4k for deposit and first and last months rent in order to move in. In PA the law states the deposit/ first month/ last months rent should not exceed 2 months price of the rent. I hate to write negative reviews, but I had problems from day one with this company. I bought a multifamily property and it needed some minor rehab and in fact, their sales team JP Reese was very nice where he didn't oversell and that's the reason why i went ahead with this company. Here are few issues 1. They assigned a property manager who is on PTO for one week and wanted me to wait for one week before they start handling over the keys form my real estate agent even tough i mentioned them that i want the work to be done ... read more

If I could select zero stars, I would. First, there's a shady $50 monthly charge for a "Resident Benefit Package" which has no benefits for me. The only possible benefit is renter's insurance, and I have my own for a whole year for just a little more than this bogus $50 charge. It's embedded in the lease and you can't avoid it. Secondly, submitting a repair request may or may not get the issue fixed. I've submitted requests for minor issues (like a cracked toilet seat), and never got repaired. My experience with HRG has been quite disappointing. The response time is consistently slow, and there appears to be a lack of initiative or urgency in finding a tenant. Unless you proactively reach out, communication is minimal. Once the property is rented, I found that charges begin to appear frequently based on tenant complaints, often without proper validation or investigation.
