wish I could leave -100 stars. Absolute worst company in general I've ever dealt with. I don't even know where to start. It's IMPOSSIBLE to communicate with anyone within the company that has any agency. You get an answering service. Ridiculously inflated move out charges. Double charged me on prorated rent that I owed. $700 for a crack in the microwave. This microwave is at least 8 years old. I can get a brand new one $200. UPDATED again: the property manager no longer works there, don't know why. But now the company has "mistakenly" placed almost a thousand dollars worth of random "utility reimbursement" fees I've never seen before on my account and it's taken two days and multiple emails to address this. They tried to get a copy of my personal electricity bill to "adjust my account" on bills that are not mine. It's always something with this company!!! My apartment looked just like the photos and was exactly what I expected and was hoping for. Each of my neighbors I meet was very friendly and outgoing. Reaching out to Schneider Property Management was very easy and always willing to answer questions. In the event that I had a maintenance emergency they got someone out to my unit right away to fix the issue. Even if it was not an emergency they would often get it fixed right away. Do not rent from HRG. We began renting our apartment prior to Schneider being bought out by HRG and things were great. Once the management changed, things went downhill fast. Last year when we renewed, they attempted to impose ridiculous mandatory fees on us beyond rent control limits which thankfully were blocked by the city after a long complaint process. Good luck getting someone to respond to you once you’ve given them your money. I have had numerous occasions this past year while renting an apartment that was facilitated by Schneider. Each time something came up they ignore you and don’t follow up. From front desk all the way up to management. They are never there for you. You should lease through Schneider if you want to feel like you have a part time job that pays you nothing.
