My expectations were far exceeded. I have never had such a thorough eye exam. Information was provided to me about findings by Dr. Barbara Smith as she did the final exam, which was very important to me as she was examining me for Giant Cell Temporal Arteritis, something many are unfamiliar with. Every appointment I have had with Marietta Eye clinic, over many years, has involved a longish wait before being seen, typically 30 to 40 minutes. On my last appointment it was an hour. Once I got in, the staff was knowledgeable and efficient which is why I have been a patient with them for so long. But the wait has gotten old. I think maybe I am going to look around at my options.
Not all things are created equal. That includes medical folks. On the advice of a friend l went to a second provider. It was a different animal so to speak. The Dr and stall explained to me what l did not need. Unique at best. So what l received from one eye Dr I did not get from Marietta personal. Bottom line people if you have any concerns about you eye health...Do not pass go and do not collect $200 dollars but go directly to the real eye ladies at Marietta eye . Staff was dismissive, didn't listen. Technology used to diagnose is outdated. Physician's assistant was rude and doesn't understand or have sympathy for someone with lupus or sensory issues. Doctor however was super nice.
First time at new location in Cartersville. Everyone was great. Friendly and helpful. Love Dr. Johnson and her professionalism. Always a great experience.
