My PCP referred me following my exam for emergency eye care. I arrived and was told "We do not take walk-ins and our next available appointment is not until August." Thank God for Dr. Weather's and the staff of the Georgia Vision Institute. I walked in after hours and was treated promptly, courteously and respectful. Not dismissive and rude with no recommendation for treatment. I don't know why my PCP didn't refer me to Dr. Weather's first since his office was right across the parking lot.
The office people, nurses a Dr. Was great. They took care of me quickly so I did not have to wait all day. Great staff, I will keep coming back.
Very disappointed with how this office handled a cancellation for my minor son’s appointment. I canceled through the text system weeks in advance and even had proof of cancellation, but was later billed because only one appointment was apparently canceled. Despite multiple calls and promised callbacks that never happened, they refused to waive the fee. I ultimately paid it, but the lack of flexibility, communication, and common sense was frustrating. I’m writing to share my experience from last week’s visit. The exam felt very brief, and I was given a prescription for one week and scheduled three weeks out. After taking the medication, my eye got worse. I called and left a message asking if I should come back sooner or get additional treatment, but I never received a call back. I ended up having to call again and schedule with another doctor. I’m disappointed with the lack of follow-up.
This was my first visit to Marietta Eye Clinic, and it was a positive experience. What stands out the most is the time they took with me. I'm used to doctors' offices ushering you in and out as quickly as possible because they have so many appointments booked. Not so here.
