Even though it is hard to get an appointment sometimes on a timely basis, it is because they are so busy. Why are they so busy? Because they are a good group of Eye Clinicians. I am never disappointed and appreciate the time they take to ensure I understand everything. They take their time to make sure your eye health is great.
This was my first visit with Dr. Bergstrom. I live in Snellville, the clinic is located in Douglasville, where I used to live(which is about a 48 mile drive). On my way to the appointment I had decided that I was not going to continue coming to the Marietta eye clinic Douglasville location. I checked in and my name was called about 15 minutes later. The surgery was quick and uneventful. However, the billing is a BIG problem. I had to make arrangements for 2600 + when in fact my insurance paid all but $940.46. I'm having a hard time setting matters straight.
My PCP referred me following my exam for emergency eye care. I arrived and was told "We do not take walk-ins and our next available appointment is not until August." Thank God for Dr. Weather's and the staff of the Georgia Vision Institute. I walked in after hours and was treated promptly, courteously and respectful. Not dismissive and rude with no recommendation for treatment. I don't know why my PCP didn't refer me to Dr. Weather's first since his office was right across the parking lot.
Visited this location for my 12 yr. old as a new patient. Eye exam went along fine and ended fine. Then I asked the Eye exam desk at checkout to let me know which rack holds the kids' glasses because I wanted to select them before meeting with the side of the business that orders glasses! Well Eye exam side said they did not know which rack held children's glasses I would have to wait until I speak with that side of the business.
