Everything went well! I did not know what to expect, but my experience was smooth as can be and moved liked clockwork. Everyone was precise and kind and made sure to explain the process for cataract surgery. After surgery, I did not experience any pain at all, which was the best part! And of course at first I was scared and nervous, but everyone assured me that this process was going to be easy, and it was! Thank you to Dr. Cohen and his team!
I came in here blind as a bat; everything was a blob without my glasses and contacts. I could see color but I couldn't see definition. Now I can see the leaves on a tree, dogs, and other things in my daily life. There's no more need for large print and I am so happy to have my sight again! What I really enjoyed about my vision after my surgery is that I can read in bed, wake up without reaching for my glasses, and get my day started. This surgery was LIFE CHANGING! What surprised me the most is that I did not realize how bad my color vision was. It’s one thing to not be able to see clearly or need more lighting, but seeing vibrant colors really changed everything for me. The entire process of cataract surgery was smooth and fast. Dr. Cohen really changed the way I see the world and I’m still getting used to not wearing glasses after 60 years. Thank you so much to Dr. Cohen and his team.
I have worn bifocals since I was 8 years old. I had no idea that cataract surgery was going to improve my vision so well. I can watch tv and read my phone without glasses. I was even able to read the menu at my favorite restaurant without glasses. Never have I seen this well before. It wasn’t until Dr. Cohen had operated on my right eye first, that I realized how bright things were. Thank you so much to Dr. Cohen and his team!!
