If you're afraid of having cataract surgery don't be with Dr Mitchell. I found him to be very thorough with me to make sure I understood everything & took the time to answer my questions. The whole process for me was painless & quick
Dr Mitchell did Cataract Surgery on both of my eyes, one at a time, He is absolutely Fantastic at explaining everything ahead of time and did an Awesome job preforming the surgery and the lens implanted. I will recommend him to everyone who needs to have Cataract surgery. Already had 6 people have the surgery done that I recommended. He is a Marvelous Doctor.

Dr. Mitchell is an outstanding eye surgeon with world class credentials, he puts his patients best interest first, he explains in detail what to expect during the consulting visit and then explains what is occurring during all phases of the surgery, he develops an excellent doctor-patient relationship that provides trust and confidence. His staff is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and also patient oriented. There is constant follow-up calls after each eye surgery as to your condition.
Dr. Mitchell impressed me as highly professional AND caring. He took the time to answer all my questions without rushing. I've had 20 surgeries in my lifetime (various types and levels of severity), and Dr. Mitchell is the first surgeon who ever called the night before to offer such thoughtful reassurance. Impressed!!! He was very thorough and kind both before and after my cataract surgery.
He was most courteous and did not hurry with his exam. He answered my questions in detail with simplicity. To my astonishment he called my home in the evening following my cataract surgery to inquire as to how I was feeling. He again called on the evening of the second day following surgery to again inquire. Dr. Mitchell is a soft spoken, kind physician most interested in his patients. If all physicians had his demeanor, courtesy and concern, the physician-patient relationship would be great
