Awful experience. Used them to create an LLC and then to dissolve it. They still charged me $200 next year for a service agent fee for A NON EXISTING COMPANY THEY DISSOLVED. Support said they couldn’t refund but made me talk to their supervisor who wasted my time saying they don’t do refunds either. Save your money, go to a different company or directly to a lawyer.
They provide general documents that aren't tailored specific to your business. If you need something simple then use them. We did find lawyers in our area that are cheaper than this company. Also our Secretary of State helped us and SCORE, which were both free. After going to a lawyer to make sure our books were in order, we were told that an item we paid (about $200) for was null and void because it was a changed document of an initial [parent] which is not legally acceptable. This has been one of the worst experiences I have had with a professional service, if not THE worst. On January 6th, I opted to try Legal Zoom to have a Living Trust prepared, along with a subscription for legal advice. Total - $494.10. I entered the necessary information. There was very little to enter - one asset, a co-op. I was then prompted to get a POA and Living Will (both which I did not need. I already had). This corporation does not deserve even one star. This company is a scam and I cannot believe our Federal Government is still allowing them to operate. Do not use this service. You would be better off paying a real attorney. There is no customer service, no speaking to a supervisor, and no number to call with concerns. They only have an intake service that can do absolutely nothing. They state they will escalate your issues and you will receive a call back. Not true. No one to hold accountable for anything. Legal zoom is a scam I paid them to file my DBA 6 months ago. They keep saying that the paperwork was lost I have to send it again. Now they're saying that the secretary of State lost my paperwork and we have to start the process again and they won't give me a refund. Don't use legal zoom it's a scam!!!
