When I first saw this hall I was amazed at how beautiful it was. Raj gave me and my husband a tour and we immediately felt this place would be perfect to hold our wedding. He then introduced us to a "manager" named Jeff (who was the absolute worst person EVER) but luckily right before my event he got fired and a new manager Kunal took over who was an upgrade from Jeff. My husband and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary on October 26, 2019. This place is beautiful. The food was awesome. My guest were happy and so were we. The staff were all great and helped us create a successful wedding anniversary celebration. I have to give a shout out to the chef and to Manny, also the three servers. I can't remember all the names of the staff but they were all great. Definitely will celebrate future events at the Lake Chateau. Thank you.
The banquet hall is beautiful inside, The manager Jeff Goldstein was very respectful and patient. Yes the place is under reconstruction, which only means if it's beautiful now it will be spectacular when it's done, The food was so good I was sad to see any leftovers go, it was very fresh and tasteful. This is definitely the best place in NJ to have a party, the food is outstanding , and the staff is fantastic!
Place has gone under a HUGE renovation and is Completely different from 4 months ago !! Food and staff are wonderful. We booked our wedding and now wished we could get married sooner !!
If I can give them 0 stars, I would. The venue is beautiful, but the staff inside it are not. They were extremely rude and things were not ready when we got to the venue. We lost 3 hours of prep time due to the halls and bridal sites not being clean. They are blamed us for the delayed start even though though they were the reason things did start on time. Our band was hired to play a surprise party here. To start, the room was dreadfully hot. When we tried to get someone to put on the air conditioning, it was impossible to find someone who spoke English. All thermostats were locked so we couldn't increase it ourselves. ABSOLUTE WORST VENUE MANAGEMENT i have ever experienced as a dj! (No management) I would give negative stars if I could! This place has no idea what they are doing when it comes to running an event! You would need to hire a team of coordinators to run the party instead! As the dj and mc of the party I had to be the coordinator, I also helped serve diner and even helped clean up and get the guests what they needed! This had to be the WORST management team I have ever experienced!! We arrived at the venue at 12:30PM to just look over and set-up some last minute decorations for a repast. But to our surprise, the room was NOT cleaned! The mirrors and floors were filthy. And the start time of the event was 1PM. We asked the 1 person that was cleaning can we assist her!!!
