This company stand behind their customers!! I ordered a 30" Lynx grill from BBQGuys.com in Dec. 2011. They contacted me very quickly on the order status and shipping date. The grill arrived by UPS freight with the box punctured and pallet dropped. I immediately contacted BBQGuys 800 number and was placed in contact with Erika who instantly told me what to do and ordered me a new grill. Ordered a grill hood, chatted with the rep to make sure it was in stock! He assured me it was and would have it at my home 3-5 days It was supposed to ship within 24 hours. That was two weeks ago! it's now May 20th and the hood still hasn't shipped yet, and no email response back now. The website says they have one in stock. Bait and switch at its finest! This is getting ridiculous! Horrible way to due business! I had to reschedule EVERYONE we hired to install our outdoor kitchen due to the lies of the BQQ guys!
I order over $4500 in patio furniture on May 1, fully expecting to have it arrive within a week or so given BBQ Guy's advertised promise to ship within 2 days. Well, to my horror when shipped I was told it would take more than 10 days to cross the country. Meanwhile, I had a business trip on May 12 that would take me out of town and had just moved into a new home in a new city with no friends or associates to manage a pallet of furniture dropped at the foot of my driveway. WOULD NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!
Paid them almost $5000 and got a Coyote grill with a sensor that did not work. They told me to go to make a warranty claim on the manufacturer. This is for a sensor that could be mailed in an envelope. In my world, if you buy something from a seller, and they ship something defective, they should make it right.
I purchased a weber spx435 and it was delivered May 1st. On the 2nd I assembled the grill and found a couple of parts missing . I called the office and Spoke With David N . I explained to him that I was having 15 people over saturday the 6th. I was told the parts are in stock and will get there before , He assured me it was taken care of and I thanked him. Bought two grills based on the product, pricing and “free and speedy shipping.” Next day I get an email saying shipping is not free to my address, it’s $706. So I agree to ship it to another location where shipping is free but very inconvenient for me. One grill is shipped free and arrives quickly, but doesn’t work. It’s a small Traeger. Traeger replaces that grill. The other larger grill shows up eight days later at the alternate destination. The original delivery was stated as three days. I worked with the design team to select equipment, their reviews mentioned how great blaze grills were (found out later that they own Blaze..) when the equipment showed up they had stacked boxes with quite obvious damage, so that the damage was hidden (this was done by BBQ guys staff not the shipper who merely moved the pallet it was all attached to). the drawer unit was destroyed the fridge box had forklift damage, the hood to the 40" blaze LTE grill had a dent that was there prior to packaging up and sending, the access do... read more
