I placed an order for all the equipment to build an outdoor kitchen around 4 -5 thousand dollars worth. After finally receiving all of it my $3200.00 grill was damaged. Filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau as well. Their advertizing, customer service and call center are deceptive and untruthful. Ordered a grill online, website said 1 to 3 business days to ship. To make sure (grill was for husband’s 50th birthday), we called customer service right after ordering online. Agent confirmed (1) item was in stock and (2) would be shipped out in 48 hours. Five days later, grill is still in processing status, so I call customer service again. Get another agent. Called to see if the item was in stock and would have for Christmas. They stated they had plenty in stock and would be no problem getting one. I placed the order on 12/06/2019 the same day I called them. On 12/09/2019 I received an e-mail stating the item was out of stock and would not be available for shipment for 12 weeks. I would not recommend buying anything from this company. Their communication with customers is terrible. I would give them ZERO stars if possible.
Ordered two items from BBQGuys - A Gas log kit and a "suggested" accessory - a safety pilot kit. The safety pilot kit simply did not work, so I immediately disconnected it, and the gas log kit worked fine without, so: I went onto website to process an return, didn't recognize my order number (from their packaging, etc.); so I called and left message for callback - no call returned. found cute fridge, website said typically ships in 7-10 days, ordered it. waited 10 days. waited some more. waited some more. emailed company- told the fridge was shipped out from manufacture. asked for tracking info. waited 3 more days. got an email the fridge is discontinued and it will never arrive. it has now been a month. fridge-less, with $3000 charged on my card gone for now? until they decide to refund it? and just plain mad at myself for not heading the mountain of one star reviews for bbqguys.
I want to start out and make this easy for everyone; I highly do NOT recommend this company and below are the details of why. The short is they have had $1500 of my money for a month and I have absolutely nothing to show for it when I should have had the products within a week or so of the order. Quick vendor review for anyone interested in the BBQ Guys who advertise here. The design team is pretty impressive and the products seem to be good, but their delivery service sticks horribly and the email advertisements are extremely misleading. This product was a farce, a joke, falsely advertised as an ice & drink cooler, and is now it is an $1800 paperweight. We expected the drawer to have some type of cooling ability (not ice making), and some insulation to keep our drinks & ice cool. instead we got a big useless bin of stainless with zero insulation, and my ice lasted about 5 minutes in the Texas heat. But, BBQ guys won't refund my money or even a partial refund. I am literally putting this thing in the trash tomorrow. DON'T BUY HERE!!!!!!
Ordered a thermometer for my grill to ship to California from Tenessee, a simple transaction I thought. The tracking showed that it would be here in just 3 days and when I received the delivery notification, I could not find anything at my door or in the mail box. To my surprise I read in the tracking details that my part was delivered to Houston, TX!!!
