Tried to order a backordered BBQ, covers and accessories. They authorized the charge against my credit card and it was approved. The cover shipped. Then a week later they try to re-authorize the total again and of course my CC company declined it. BBQguys tells me one thing and my bank tells me another. Nobody has time for this BS so after two hours of phone calls I had to cancel my order.
I have a Blaze 4 burner grill (32") with corner to corner measurement for shelves of about 55 inches. The grill cover linked to this grill on your site, as well as what was recommended by the service dept, was about 56 inches long. In 2 years, the inevitable occured where the cover shrunk due to constant exposure to the sun. Pulling the cover down over the shelves caused all 4 seams to tear out. Within a month of us moving into our newly constructed house, we noticed the lid rusting on this ice bin. BBQ guys sent a replacement to our builder who came out with it a couple months later to replace. They installed the new lid and come to find out, it was warped right out of the box. As in, when the lid is closed there’s a gap about an inch thick where hot air can enter.Now, BBQ guys and Blaze Warranty are refusing to try a third time to give me an actual lid that looks like it should, new and not warped or rusty. Ordered in October for Christmas present. Smoker put unboxed on December 27 and was damaged. BBQGuys won’t do anything because it’s outside the 30 day window for returns. Spent $500+ for a damaged smoker.
I have not written a review before. First let me say that Covid has impacted every person and every business. I get that. I read the disclaimers. My business deals with it as well. However, at this point you have to set appropriate expectations and meet them. There are ample data points after 10 months, to factor these issues into ordering and delivery dates. The stainless steel grill I ordered (I spent a total of $1855.31) came damaged in freight. The whole back of the grill was pushed in, leaving dents in the stainless steel on both sides of the grill and also causing the fold down table on one side not to work properly. Hi, my experience with the barbecue guys is horrible. I ordered a smoker back in June they took my money and never sent it. Said 3 to 4 weeks. Contact support representative's with ,ask them several times where my product is that I've paid for, yet They tell me that somebody's going to get in contact with me . because they don't know where it's at. Avoid. Sold a grill to me advertising "leaves our warehouse in 1-3 days". That was one day ago. Now I'm being told it may be three months for delivery. Trying to cancel now but they're acting like they are doing me a favor in doing so. So much competition in this area - why put up with such ridiculousness? I recommend you look elsewhere!
Purchased a complete outdoor kitchen in May. Still waiting on the sink which I had to cancel and reorder a different brand today. I was told it would look exactly the same. I then reviewed the website and the stainless still looks completely different then my other appliances I purchased from BBQGUYS. Lies. I was sent tracking for my kegorator but they sent it to another customer.
