Spoke directly with company sales representative and having researched models extensively, asked for a quote for a 36” Heston Aspire grill with smoker box and rotisserie. Received quote, ordered this very expensive grill, and hired two contractors to meet the truck for unloading and assembly. Then, hired electrician and gas plumber to make the hook ups, required by California law. I bought a warehouse deal and was fully aware that it was final sale. My husband and I triple checked the measurements etc and placed the order. The item arrived and it was not what was pictured nor did it match the dimensions . I contacted BBQ and they told me that the best they would do was give me a $300 credit on an $1600 order. Seems to be plesent during the inital sales pitch. Afterwards dont expect much plesentry. 3 days after i bought my $4,000 delta heat grill it went on sale $299 off the price. I inquired about this sale and was told. Sorry we dont retroactive past purchases. There is no satifaction grace period. Customer Service is null and void after purchase is made. I ordered a Traeger Pro 34 grill. When my grill got here the packaging and delivery company were great! However, my $750 grill had a big dent on the pellet box and the top rack to my grill was all beat up. I have called several times and left messages. I have sent emails and tried using the chat messages only to get sorry we are busy and will respond soon. I have sent pictures and two weeks later still no response. I ordered a rotisserie for my KitchenAid grill confirming on the BBQGuys website the model number needed. It appears that the grill has been modified so that the recommended rotisserie no longer fits. I confirmed this with the manufacturer and then requested a return to BBQGuys with them paying the return shipping. They refused to pay for return shipping and blamed me for ordering the wrong item. I have read all the reviews both about BBQ Guys and R&L Carriers. Even read R&L Carriers employee ratings. But from what i read the Blaze grill was what I wanted. So I ordered the whole mess. The grill, the cart, the smoker, etc. I asked for shipping to be held up 2 weeks as my deck was being redone. BBQ Guys called to confirm i wanted the order held and did so. it shipped the day I asked it to be shipped. R&L Carriers texted me to schedule delivery. Worst service ever. Would not recommend ordering from this company. To get a return email is practically impossible without email 3-4 times or going to chat and forwarding emails. I ordered the grill before Memorial Day(5/23). It is June 4th and still do not have it. It has been sitting in Denver from 5/25 and no one bothered to call to schedule a delivery. Do not patronize this company. Give your business to someone who cares. Take it from a small business owner.
