Terrible company to work for. They don't care about their employees. They say it is flexible hours but they expect everyone to be available for a certain amount of hours a week! When a family books you, you don't even get a chance to accept or decline it! They are always threatening to fire you if you aren't available and accepting enough jobs. Also, you aren't allowed to speak to the family outside of the app, which makes it hard to make genuine relationships with the families you are babysitting for.

This business is nothing but a joke. Whoever came up with this should be disappointed in themselves as a human being. I hope some other corporation buys them out and fires every single executive. All business should be taken elsewhere. The BBB needs to hop on their as* immediately.

I am so sorry I did not check the reviews before spending time completing a form to find a one-time house cleaner. I was contacted by 2 house cleaners but was unable to contact them without purchasing a membership. What kind of complimentary membership is that?A total rip off.I guess i should have noticed that Care.com did not have a review section on their own website. Live and learn.

If I could give no stars, I would - I understand the written policy but forgot auto-renewal would happen. I called one day after it posted and was told that no refunds were available. I couldn't locate an email confirming the upcoming charge and the customer rep couldn't tell me when it was sent or to what email it was sent.We have teens now and no longer need/use Care.com. I have been a member for many years and I have been trying to cancel and I get no response. I have written 3 emails, left voice mails and tried to live chat ( no one is ever available). My membership came due on 5/4 , I canceled on line and they pushed it out until next year 2022 and charged my credit card.Thus company has the worst customer service. Have received no call back, no response to my emails and of course no live chat. I would even give them 1 star but had to give sometime or I couldn't continue. Will be disputing... read more

I signed up for a membership and somehow the membership was assigned to an email address I do not actually have. I guess it is possible I checked out the site many years previously with a different email address - but I don't remember EVER using this address and it is not the address I tried to sign up with. This company has poor customer service! I was charged even though I called to cancel my subscription. I also left a message on the website as instructed and waited for a response. I was spoken to rudely and cursed by a representative on the telephone for not answering his call. When they finally decided to respond days later. They dont respond to your calls or mails. I paid for business membership for 3 months which gave me zero access for what I paid for. The only thing they know to do well is take your money. I either want service the service I paid for or my money back.
