I signed up for "free" like they said, created a posting, etc. But they don't tell you until you have someone apply for your posting that you can see the application until you pay $38! You can't even get one post for free or even see the application. What if you decide not to hire them?! You're out $38! Rip off! Deceivers!
I wanted to hire a housekeeper. I paid $131 for a membership. I then researched and sent messages to 10 housekeepers. Only 2 responded at all. One replied she was out of town so couldn't do the job. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!I used care.com to place an add for a care giver for my mom. We found someone (outside of care.com) in March, so I immediately downgraded my account. Everything looked like it downgraded as I lost all access to all member privileges including the ability to respond to caregivers to tell them I had filled the position already. They word their membership so that it misleads you into thinking you are just signing in for a 1 month trial period then continue to **** your credit card indefinitely. They ran this through 10 billing cycles before I caught on. I finally figured out how to cancel completely. Be careful with this business.
Care.com is Horrible! Deceiving company. They charge my account even after closing it multiple times. They make it so hard to talk with anyone. They should be forced out of business
This company is horrible. They conned me out of $155.00. The website was misleading and they refused to refund me my money. Do not use them
So care.com backup care specialists dont really know what they are doing. At least 3 specialists told me I would not have any copay and when the actual claims reimbursement is done, I have a copay. Who is responsible for what they said versus what is the outcome.
Given the litany of reviews citing Care's predatory subscription billing practices, you would think they would modify their ToS and customer service approach instead of perpetuating the system and having stooges (sorry, folks -- I know it's not you) reply to every single one of the complaints on this website and others justifying the charges.Like others, I was just billed with zero notice regarding the renewal date, cancellation, etc., no emails, absolutely no warning whatsoever. How can this company have an A+ rating with an average of **** stars from 327 customer reviews? I was on ********************** for 3 months. Never found the housekeeper I sought. Had the same candidates available with no new ones. Tried 3. First left because I asked her to not **** shoes in my house.
