Care Providers beware! I have worked in hospice and *********** for 20 years. I had my entire career on my care.com profile, including my resume, and many letters of recommendation from various clients who hired me from care.com and posted their referrals for me via care.com member portal. Care.com is a waste of time and money. I saw a bad review for a girl that was removed. Do not trust this site. My children were stood up by a girl who never showed and made us late to an important court apearance.
Dog ****** (*********) failed to show. I left for an all-day meeting at returned home at 8:30. Lucky was to be fed and walked beetween 12:00 and 1:00. He hadn't eaten since 5:00 the night before and hadn't been walked since early morning. When I arrived, I noticed that the bowl and wet food was where I had left them, still full. I've given this company a 2-star review, as I've had positive resuets in the past; however, I would not recommend this ******.**********
My friend who lived with us as a live-in caregiver assistant to me passed away in April. I finally dove in and paid for a premium membership to find some help. I found a few possible wonderful people but they were so restrictive on what they would and would not do or were not taking new clients that I found no one and wasted my money. This company is corrupt and dishonest. Mobile website does not have the ability (as far as I could find) to cancel my premium subscription. They charged me for the new month and I contacted them within 48 hours of the new **** cycle explaining what had happened and requesting help, along with a refund. They refuse to give the refund and did nothing but copy and paste generic scripted messages. I use this service as needed. This company still the pits. They will not allow you to review a company they have on their site if they perceive language to be defamatory. That is their opinion. How can anyone get an accurate review of the company if Caring wants, what I precevie to he false information? I suggest leaving a review on ****** or any other site and you can receive more accurate information about a facility.
signed up for a month subscription and cancelled before the month ended. they keep auto drafting the money of of your account regardless and will not refund it. terrible business practices.
Care.com is a scam. We signed up for premium service and never used them. They automatically renewed our subscription. After one year by then, I had even forgotten that I had signed up with care.com as we never used them. Three days after our renewal should have been canceled, I noticed that they had billed us. I called them for a refund, but they refused. We have never used them; they charged us $155, to begin with, and charged us $155 again. This is a scam. Beware.
DO NOT USE this service! No surprise that they don't have a link to leave a review on their website... I tried to find a caregiver for my mom back in January of 2021. I contacted several people and the few that responded were not looking for work or had so many limitations on their services that I just gave up.
