I've used Care.com for two reasons: house cleaning (2 individuals over 8 years) and dog sitting (3 people for 3 different dogs). I'll sign up for a month or two (or quarterly rate) and find what I need, then they make it simple to cancel. They are the company they say they are, and I expect to pay for this service, but it's been very helpful.

Care.com was very helpful in finding someone to care of my elederly mom so that she could remain in the home and I could work. Not only did they help me finding ***************** for that but also for while we were traveling. When went to ****** and mom became sick and weak. I don't know anyone there and didnt want to forfeit ****** tickets. I went on the app and found a lovely CNA who we still communicate with today.
