I believe that this company Care.com is very bad. I signed up for a child care provider and after I obtained one person to watch my child. Care.com used a another company called ************************** to conduct a background check and to do a credit check. After the person that I had hired to watch my child left my home I got notified that Care.com suspended my account and then returned the money I paid to upgrade my membership. Awful website they charge you when they say they are not going to charge you for the subscription. All the jobs I applied for never responded. I had it for an over a year. Wasted money and time on the site!
This is a terrible business. **************** does not exist, I cant get ahold of a real person, no one responds to my emails.
Complete Ripoff Company!I signed up with them and after 7 days they sent me an email saying I have been removed from their site...no explanation or reason given. I sent multiple emails to their customer service email and got no response back at all. In my opinion, I think the company is going bankrupt and have the profiles on there are all fake. Care.com is a total scam. Don't sign up. They will never stop taking your money and you will get no customer service.
This company has been charging my mother's credit card for over a year when only signed up for a one-time payment membership. She died in March of 2021 and as I wrap up her affairs I just learned of these charges including one from April and one from July. Stay from this company they will rob you!
I agree with every other negative review. Worthless and don't think that you are signing up for one month to check it out. Charges recur monthly until you call and cancel. Don't do it!!
This is the absolute best money scam out there! No refunds just because they made it a policy! I paid $160 year subscription for absolutely zero child care help! I am so incensed that I wasted my money AND I had to leave my career because this app doesnt deliver. Babysitters for $50hr? Yeah right! I WAS JOINED TO THIS APP FOR LIKE 1-2 weeks *** and I cant get a refund after we found no one? I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
Care.com has a broken button when trying to submit cancellation of a paid subscription. This generally leads to customers forgetting to cancel by leaving the page, as they are unable to follow through with the cancellation on the spot. When contacting Care.com, I was told they have a strict, no-refund policy - despite the glitch. Literally one day too late in actually successfully cancelling my subscription, and I am told I have to eat the ******* expensive anyway) $40 monthly fee.
