Ripped off for a subscription I accidentally signed up for company refuses to refund. There was NO request for payment info on the site where I accidentally subscribed I just got an e mail that I had subscribed and $155 debit from my checking. Management refuses to refund??
Signed up for one month. Seeking part time elderly in-home care. In my geographic region, 12 caregivers listed as wanting part time. I contacted all 12. Of the 12, 6 applied. I messaged all 6. My wife has been on care.com for the past two hours attempting to upgrade her account to get back to work. What a mistake. They have taken her money, and they say to cancel her basic account. Which is not working. She's so frustrated, she's going to hopefully cancel and say good bye to care.com. Joke. I hope a lawyer sees this and sues them and represents everyone they've scammed. Zero rating if we could.
I paid for the premium subscription to find jobs but it never showed me who looked at my profile as promised and I never got contacted at all by anyone. It kept changing how much I charge per hour even though I fixed it multiple times so it was probably scaring away clients. Total waste, save your money. **************** provides zero helpful service.
I have a close family member who has been an experienced and highly qualified caregiver for many years. She was blackballed by care.com some time back apparently from a customer possibly lying about something. You never know since care.com will not give you any info. And how is it possible care.com can ruin someone's career and ability to earn money by not making sure if something is valid? It would seem they could be liable for their actions. If I could give 0 stars I would. This is an actual LEGIT SCAM. Everything about it is so messed up. I created a caregiver account where I had to pay for a background check to be done, and to activate my account. While waiting for the verification, they closed my account with no explanation. I filed a case for them to recheck it as there was nothing wrong with my account. Its now been almost 2 months later and they never responded. Hours of time and money spent for my profile is gone. No refund, no privacy, no follow up. Care.com posted private information on a third party website and will not take it down. Contacted them 3 times. The employee said the manager would email me and they never did. It is also against company policy to issue a refund. No refund, no privacy, no follow up. I booked 6 days of backup care. 2 days it got cancelled at the moment; 2 days no show at all; 1 day the nanny was late and 1 day the nanny left 4.5 hours ahead of time
