This was the worst company i have ever done business with. I tried to cancel my membership multiple times. The company still charged me and will not issue a refund. I finally have an email showing that I cancelled, only after talking on a online chat with a customer service rep. **** will not provide emails or phone numbers to reach the ************ I will not recommend this company to anyone.

Beware of Care.com and their shady business practice. I made a huge mistake by clicking on their website and typed in that I was looking for a caregiver and then once I started receiving candidates who were interested you had to purchase a package from Care.com before you could communicate to the candidate you selected. Well once I chose the yearly package for $155.40 and paid the fee on my credit card, the candidate told me they forgot they had other commitments and couldnt take the job. My mom is 100 yrs old. Ive tried to reach this company ad nauseum! My mom will be going into assisted living within the month. In the meantime, I needed to find her an aid. It seemed unfair to pay almost $40 to speak to someone, for 3 weeks!! I sent messages asking to please reach out to me!! There is no number to contact anybody!! when you try to reach a human, its not possible!! This is disgusting. Its unfair. What kind of people dont have a way to reach them!! Its clear the money is more important!!

I called to ask why I could not access my account as a care provider. My account indicates that my background check is in progress and that is why I cant access it, but it has been over two weeks like this. When I called the company, they tried to refer me to Apple Pay, but I told them that the payment was not the issue, the background check was the issue. They told me that they saw nothing on their end. I told them I was looking at it right as we spoke on my app. They kept trying to tell me to call Apple Pay, but would not ... read more

Care.com allows families/employers to leave you a bad rating even when you havent accepted their job. Someone claimed I misquoted my rate (I didnt), and in retribution she left a 1 star rating - even though I hadnt worked for or even met this woman. I am allowed to respond to her review, but my profile now has 1 star and no one will click on it. I never performed a ***********, why is she allowed to rate me? I would have left this message on Care.com, but there is no way to contact them.

Care.com posts "AUTO RENEW" in their FINE PRINT, and then charges you annually, even if you don't use the App. When you contact customer suupport, they WILL NOT BUDGE. ********************** is a horrible operation, that exploits and rips-off customers, for money.

0 stars. this is a scam. They entice you into a basic membership, but you can't cancel. You have to upgrade to cancel! No ability to contact them...the number they provide hangs up on you. I felt I had to upgrade to get out of this, so I did, but I still can't find a way to cancel. If this isn't good reason for a class action lawsuit, I would be surprised!

I am a caretaker that depends on this app/business platform. The facade of the website exudes ease, clarity, security-until you actually use it. Not only is it difficult to navigate but it doesnt provide either family or caretaker with security. Anyone can create an account and anyone can post a review of a user. Even if they havent hired you. I had a parent post a fake review as retaliation after I didnt move forward with care. I regret to say that I'm pretty disappointed in using Care.com. Their customer service is poor, their policy is poor, and their website is very poor. Honestly, I would say their business is borderline scam. Don't pay to use their service. They're overpriced and you get mediocre services from them.
