I signed up for a monthly membership. I was charged the entire year. When I asked for a refund because it was not fruitful in my search for childcare and I hadnt been told I would be charged for the entire year the customer service representative refused. They deceive and tell you its $13.00 a month and never tell you they are charging for the entire year.

Wish I'd done my due diligence on this company. They suck!! I was looking for a housekeeper. None of the applicants provided fit my needs. Tried one lady who was very nice but bless her heart she wasn't a housekeeper.So fine I paid for one month of care.com approx $38. I also made the mistake of purchasing their $20 upsell for background checks. I never used it and requested a refund. It was denied. I have a profile on care.com and it has been hidden so I can do a trial with someone that hired me and not be obligated to answer to perspective employers. At care.com you are rated how fast you answer to someone who is messaging you, EVEN IF THE PERSON DID NOT BOTHER TO READ YOUR PROFILE AND SEE THAT WHAT THEY ARE OFFERING IS NOT WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR! They used to be decent **** years ago but never great. Not they force Nannies/ babysitters to use the app which is ridiculous especially with inflation. Now, literally no one can get ahold of customer support so whats going on? The owners are disgusting and greedy. This website needs to be shutdown asap

Care.com is a complete joke! For one, I signed up for the monthly membership to see how it went, they charged me the yearly subscription and when I went through complete hoops to get a refund for the ************************************************************************** because they do not give refunds. They stated I signed a contract and no refunds are issued for any membership, I explained to them that they violated the contract by not charging me the correct amount that I signed for and they basically said too bad. Wanted to make an account to find a caregiver for my mother. Checked the "monthly box". Filled out the credit card info. and as I was clicking the button to complete the order, I noticed (too late) that the "yearly box" was now checked! I contacted them to get it changed but was told they could not do that - no refunds allowed. But, they assured me that I would not automatically have the subscription renewed when my year was up. Sneaky and unprofessional!

There is no way to contact them unless you are a member. When you call the number (which I had to do a search for) it gives you an auto message and just hangs up on you. It was a struggle to get my question answered on ******** and you are not allowed to use the chat unless you are a paid member. They won't even tell you what their subscriptions cost until after you enroll as a member!! Not joking. Stay far away from this company!! Not transparent at all

This is a subscription service that auto renew until you cancel, which was a pain. It was not made clear that I would be billed every month forever. I dont others to go through that.
