I regret to say that I'm pretty disappointed in using Care.com. Their customer service is poor, their policy is poor, and their website is very poor. Honestly, I would say their business is borderline scam. Don't pay to use their service. They're overpriced and you get mediocre services from them. They also automatically charge you without any notice and this is truly how I think their company is staying afloat. After paying for the service I found out I can't post myself without entering what schools I went to and what my degrees are in. This is no ones business and my education has nothing to do with cleaning a house!!!!!! People should not have to pay to get a job. Shame on you care.com

There is not a customer service phone number to reach anyone, only a recording directing you to the website. Unable to reach anyone by phone I emailed them and received a reply that that the email was no longer monitored and encouragement to login and review common questions and answers on their website. I have no possible way to voice my concerns within their nonresponsive unsupportive system. No one should place their children in the care of this company knowing you cannot reach support when needed. What a shame!

Absolutely terrible "platform" company. I wasted many, many hours trying to find a dog ****** and about 4 candidates said they could do it and then backed out. The last one said he could come and then said he would send his girlfriend who never showed up!! They also required I pay a fee of $124.00 for Prime Membership which cannot be refunded. As everyone is saying this is a scam company. Avoid it at all costs.

They offered 3 different options for a subscription. One amount was for $12, the next amount for around $30, and the final option was for the full year cost of $167. I clicked on the $12 per month option and was charged the full $167 dollars. I contacted their customer service and was told no refund was available. This company used false advertisement to make you think there was a lower option to pay when theyre just going to charge you the entire amount up from. this company will scam you and refuse to help you even when they-charged without authorization only caters to basic needs- senior, baby sitting- no way to customize you needs even when creating a job listing it must fall into a basic category avoid if you can- not worth the headache, if i could leave a negative star i would they dont even deserve 1 star

I'm so glad that I didn't sign up for this fraud scamming company!!! I read the reviews and people are saying no matter what subscription you choose monthly/ yearly they still charge you yearly! Also the prices seem to change at the expense of care.com! I had the choice to do monthly at $4.99 including them paying for the background check. Then it gave me another option to pay $18.00 for the background check. They say on there page it states there is no refund! Which is a lie!!!
