Horrible service. Continously had back to back no shows for this service. When reacted out about not actually getting the service I signed up for was not assisted at all. Just told will downgrade account and would have to **** up paying for a service I was not able to get. I am making it know to everyone that even thinks about doing business with care.com to not since they male no attempt to actually help their customers at all
Care.com is a total scam. They make it practically impossible to delete your credit card information, They are sneaky about automatic renewal and refuse to refund charges even if you can prove you haven't signed in or used their services. Plus, they don't provide any reminders that you are about to be charged. **************** is basically zero and it's impossible to get answers from anyone. If I could give negative stars I would.
In the age of Covid they dont list if the nannies are vaccinated against Covid and you have to pay $40 to find out.In my areas all the nannies I have reached out to are not vaccinated and dont plant to be, making my search vane and a big waste of money. Dont use that site!!
Had signed up for care.com recruiting....after two months and zero candidates, I put down "do new autorenew" after 6 weeks. A few days later decided just to cancel--but someone that only cancelled the "cancel autorenew" and re-signed us up. Tried email multiple times, but no response. And no phone number to call Ended up being charged $150 + tax for an extra month I didn't sign up for or ever use.Avoid at all cost.
Paid for a premium subscription for one month to send a few messages to potential housekeepers. Was charged again one month later despite being a one month subscription. So paid $60+ to send a couple of instant messages. Tried to cancel and deactivate my account but couldn't. Found a page telling me how to do it and tried to follow it. Absolutely NO customer service or replies to my complaints. Paid $140 for an annual membership with no option for another price/timeframe. Learned my cousin paid $30 for monthly membership. When I tried to file complaint with credit card ******************************** they took my membership away after one month and made me stay with payment of $140
Our billing experience with Care.com was a nightmare. They kept billing me for the premium membership which I had cancelled from my online account before the second months renewal due to a bad experience with a potential caregiver. When I realized that they were still billing me after three months, I disputed the credit card charge but it was denied because Care.com informed my bank that I never cancelled the monthly subscription. Same experience as everyone outlined before me. Policy of "no refund" for their auto-subscriptions. Be very cautious using this service...just don't.
Horrible customer service. I've tried contacting multiple times to change my type of membership from "caregiver" to "looking for care". I wasn't able to log into the website, update my settings, or even contact them without paying $18.99 for the care check/background check. I ended up paying the fee because we need a nanny ASAP.
