The worst customer service. I have been able to log into my account to cancel services for months and every link doesnt work and no one contacts back
Signed up for premium and tried for 3 months to find full time childcare (top of the pay scale, just under 40 hrs and basic childcare requirements) after 2 failed attempts (both sitters left me stranded either the day of or the day before) so I tried canceling my subscription. This company needs to be assessed immediately. When you sign up, they offer an annual membership at a discounted rate. What they don't tell you is that they will automatically **** you ONE YEAR LATER with no advanced warning. This is a huge expense to be blindsided by for most families. When you attempt to cancel, they will not allow you to - they tell you that you must stay on their subscription until the following year, but they won't let you cancel then either. CANCELATION PROCESS IS DECEIVING AND REDUNDANT!!!! I am an educated person that thought I had downgraded on my phone only to find a monthly charge weeks later.
Approximately 40 phone interviews from 60 potential candidates. Not one follow up with references. I feel many of these responses were from fake profiles in order to keep people paying in search of a caregiver. In 3 years and multiple ads and membership times, I have never connected with one caregiver. Never again. Care.com does not care, does not follow up on complaints in regards to the unreliability of the alleged caregivers they allow to solicit on their site. I was working for care.con using their service for over a year when all of a sudden my account was terminated. They didnt state a specific reason and in turn they alerted my current client that I no longer am working on care.con which luckily didnt cause me to loose my job but now all the great reviews from past clients are gone and I can never use care.con again. Care.com is racist. I am African American and everytime I tried to upload my picture, it said that it wasn't approved. Then when my picture was finally fully up and visible, they canceled my membership and took my money. I received a generic email that said that I was ineligible for membership. I say that it was race because they only thing I gave was my name, and picture.
you do not have working nanny's on your site- its all for show to get people like me to pay. I want my money back. Your site should be taken down.
This is a complete waste of money - do not waste your time or money on this website service. We signed up to find a nanny to watch our children, and received a lot of interest from nannies registered on this website. We set-up interviews and every single one of the applicants were a no show. We soon realized that CARE.com pays for the top 10 websites for reviews on their company on google.com search engine - you need to really search to find the accurate, honest reviews which reflect the reality of how awful this company is.... read more
