Its nearly impossible to get in contact with anyone from this company, *** had several bad experiences with sitters Ive hired and youre unable to speak to anyone about the issues. They hire incompetent caregivers and you pay an ********* for the care, the app and subscription to use the app. DO NOT USE CARE.COM its not safe.
I have been a caregiver on Care.com for four years. I received a bad review from a former client who was actually taking advantage of state funding for her disabled sisters care. She was paid by the state but underpaid me, and she frequently went to the casino instead of caring for her sister. Do not enroll in Care.com. It is impossible to access anyone via their chat option. You state your question and they say they're transferring you. After an hour of waiting, no one responds. It is awful. I am trying to cancel my membership, but it seems impossible and there is no one to speak with or email.
Had several questions issues and can not get a real person on Chat or the phone or email. Very strange. No website, they force you to sign up using the App. To cancel I had to close my debit card and get a new one, no way to cancel an membership at all. What a scam.
Don't do it. Paid the annual fee with all the options for background checks etc. After paying, then lets me know cant verify my identify by use of cell phone number of 25 years, (usual way according to their site). Now requesting copy of drivers license front and back. Didn't feel comfortable with that so try and make contact with customer service, all AI stuff, insanely frustrating. They try to lock you into a subscription and do not inform you that it is going to recur. The service works to connect with potential care but we didn't find anyone that worked for us and then got a surprise recurring charge that they refused to refund. Good businesses have happy repeat customers and don't burn bridges by charging for unused services
UNBELIEVABLE.....Unfortunately, Im unable to issue a refund of charges youve already incurred.? ********* auto-renewal policy! There were ZERO e-mails or other communications with receipts or notifications that the trial subscription had been automatically renewed. I ended up with hundreds of dollars in payments before we noticed it on the credit card bill. Don't trust this organization; it seems they are attempting to take advantage of people with sneaky "auto-renewal" policies and lack of communicating about ongoing billing.
This company is a ****- they will continue to charge your card after you cancel. Do Not sign up for their one month service. You will have to Block them from continuing to charge your card.
