as a caregiver I have actually found Jobs using this app. That said, I would never recommend anyone sign up for their service. It is impossible to cancel or delete your account. Accessing my account settings shows an error message. Calling a number either says it is an unmonitored number or they will call you back which they never do. I have to call my credit card to put a stop on the auto renewal. This is the shadiest run business Ive ever encountered.

A fraudulent account was set up in my name and with my email, and I started receiving job applications for a posting I never made, and I never signed up for Care.com. I reached out to Care.com and they did nothing. They said they would look into it but there could be a delay doing anything. Care.com does not do a thorough job verifying anything for account setup, and they do nothing when fraud is brought to their attention. This is extremely disturbing, given the services they offer are for care in people's homes.

Care.com was a horrible service and did not have any good nannies in my area. Furthermore, I signed up for an annual membership which auto-renewed one year later without any notification. Clearly care.com cares more about profits than providing good service.

The website and app are non-functional. I was seeking elder transportation care. Most caregivers are interested only in full time employment. Most caregivers responded without fully reading the job posting and with boilerplate responses. The website did not allow me to remove my credit card. The fees are very expensive just to join in order to seek a caregiver. Also, they charge a fee in order to issue payment to the caregiver! A less than ideal and very cumbersome experience in what is already a very stressful situation.

Its nearly impossible to get in contact with anyone from this company, *** had several bad experiences with sitters Ive hired and youre unable to speak to anyone about the issues. They hire incompetent caregivers and you pay an ********* for the care, the app and subscription to use the app. DO NOT USE CARE.COM its not safe.

I have been a caregiver on Care.com for four years. I received a bad review from a former client who was actually taking advantage of state funding for her disabled sisters care. She was paid by the state but underpaid me, and she frequently went to the casino instead of caring for her sister. Do not enroll in Care.com. It is impossible to access anyone via their chat option. You state your question and they say they're transferring you. After an hour of waiting, no one responds. It is awful. I am trying to cancel my membership, but it seems impossible and there is no one to speak with or email.

Had several questions issues and can not get a real person on Chat or the phone or email. Very strange. No website, they force you to sign up using the App. To cancel I had to close my debit card and get a new one, no way to cancel an membership at all. What a scam.

Don't do it. Paid the annual fee with all the options for background checks etc. After paying, then lets me know cant verify my identify by use of cell phone number of 25 years, (usual way according to their site).
