Their website is very difficult to navigate and once you post a job, there's no way to remove it! You hayno recourse! When you try to notify the community, you get kicked off the site. Bogus!

I chose to subscribe to Care.com as my husband and I are both seniors with health issues. I needed monthly housekeeping. Several people applied, only was was insured. This person was a "no show" both times. They didn't even have the manners to cancel either time.
I have a Care.com profile and got a notification recently that in order to get messages I have to use a Apple Iphone only . Now I have six !!! messages from potential employers, that I. cannot see because Care.com wants me to use Apple IPhone only . I like my current phone that worked fine to get message and have written to Care.com several times without success. HELP !!
Our account was suddenly removed. I received an email at the end of a business day before the weekend that our account was suddenly removed. We are in the process of seeking immediate care for our parents and unable to resolve the issue so that we may communicate with caregivers. This is so disheartening and frustrating. DECEPTIVE RENEWAL POLICIES - I'd rather leave ZERO stars. Anyone considering using this platform should run in another direction. I was looking for a tutor for my daughter. Signed up for their initial intro. I spoke with a couple of tutors but ended up finding someone from my daughters school instead. I didn't realize they would do an auto renewal and have absolutely no emails to remind me of upcoming renewal fees. No email notifications at all or opportunities to cancel. I signed up for a basic membership. So I could browse the sitters. We never communicated with any or hired any! They then charged my credit card in $383 (in 3 separate transactions so it didn't look as sketchy) I did not catch it in April of last year. But I did this year. When I call to tell them I never authorized this (or the initial) the customer service person just said... yes you did and you opened the email that said it would renew. I have read all the reviews left about Care.com, and I like every other review has serious problems with this company. I am a child care facility advertising on their site. I had multiple caregivers accept a job and then not show up or stop responding to messages to explain the job/address timing/details. I finally found an excellent, diligent caregiver and Care.com charged my credit card and then didn't pay her. Will not use again.
