Apparently I signed up more than two years ago when I was desperately seeking child care. I had no idea they have been charging me $75 a month since. I've receive no confirmation emails. I've not used their service since 2022. Nor did I find the help I was looking for. Very deceptive practices. I am sure I thought I was making a one-time. payment.

Horrible, do not use them, I opened an account looking for a babysitter for my 7 month old and they ran a background check without my permission after a month or so, found a misdemeanor from ***************************************** the world. They sent me an email terminating my account immediately

It is extremely difficult to get in contact with customer service. I am trying to delete my account (not just pause. I mean FULL data deletion). They loop you around in circles with the help centre and even the California Privacy Policy links are not helpful.

I subscribe to Care.com to find a math tutor. I searched for an hour, but was unable to find a candidate that was under $30 an hour with references. I contacted Care.com the same day to say this service was not a fit for me and could I please have a refund. I was told no and that they would upgrade me to "premium" for a month. What a ridiculous concept: to have people be able to create an account, post a job, look at Job applicants, allow job applicants to apply for your job, but then have no way to hire or communicate with them without upgrading!! I mean seriously what was the point of all of that if you can't even do the one basic thing of hiring someone for the job. Absolutely ridiculous! Don't waste your time.

This company is shady, they will automatically place add on charges and have policies to not provide refunds. **************** is all electronic there is no telephone communication, the only phone number found online is through a 3rd party that leads to an automated message telling to use the website. They do not abide by their own policies to address concerns within 48hrs as stated on website or in automated email response. Terrible slimy company. Send you emails repeatedly after requesting to opt out which is a violation of the CAN-Spam Act. They hound you in the beginning then it takes forever to get in contact with someone. They are deceitful and misleading. ****** is a better platform. They are north forth coming and lie when you ask if you are allowed to cancel if you are not satisfied and then refuse to provide you with a copy of their recorded line. Shame!!
