I was terminated without cause on August 2, 2024 1.5 hours before my last day. They had already given me my 4 weeks notice. I simply contacted care.com because I could not report this family via the app. Today is September 2, 2024. This is still not resolved. They keep sending me emails with answers that has not pertains to my concern. I couldn't update my background check because I wasn't allowed to update my card information. They stole my credit card information. Every time I try and cancel my subscription the website says the next billing cycle and the amount. I called them same day when I got the charge and they said they dont give refunds even if I didnt make the charge. I called the number and no answer. Its crazy how many websites can steal your information and charge you. Then have a fake customer service.

They fraudulently charged my account . The girl never even showed up. It's a SCAM

Terrible company. I created an account and paid for the premium subscription with unlimited background checks. Then later that evening Care.Com closed my account and would not tell me why at first. When I reached out to chat, they told me that because I changed my name, I broke their agreement and therefore my account was closed and they cannot open it again. Hired a petsitter but she had to cancel due to a medical emergency. per Care instructions went online and cancelled and re-requested another pet sitter. Hired another person but Care charged me TWICE for the original petsitter and I had to get the original sitter to pay me back but Care still owed me money. They don't automatically re-imburse my account. Says it takes 5-10 days. Meanwhile my account will be overdrawn due to their mistakes! I am supposed to be entitled to back up care through my employer. They mentioned that my onsite daycare provider is in-network with Care.com I was unable to book through their website, and the only options that were provided were 7 - 10 miles in the opposite direction of my work. I called customer service and was initially told that I could complete my request through their "back office" all I had to do was provide credit card information but I needed to wait for a call from one of their secure lines. On 08/15/24 I contacted cae.com for caregivers and was contacted by many who I was speaking with but never hired.On 08/18/24 I noticed that 142 dollars was removed from my account by them.I contacted them immediately and received the response below. I sense they are taking advantage of people who may be in a urgent or crisis situation.
