I've tried to cancel several times. Company keeps charging me. Don't give him your credit card information. They'll keep charging even after you cancel on their website. Read the other reviews.

Scam . I paid $ ****** when I was desperate to find someone to transport my 81 year old mother in law to doctor appt. I got no service or help. It is sad that this company preys on families and the elderly. All I kept getting was more emails asking me for more money , which thankfully I did not. I gave it 1 star because there was no option to leave no stars.

They wont let you cancel, TOTAL SCAM! They say you can cancel anytime and you pay month to month and then you cant cancel until you pay $900.

This is only because I cannot give it 0 stars. The negative review has nothing to do with the caregivers, but instead the anti-customer stance of the so called "customer service". They made it difficult to cancel and would not refund me for a quarter that started the day before my call. I was a quarterly member and thought I had already cancelled until I saw a charge on my credit card for Q4. Beware and Do Not submit your contact information or credit card information to CARE.COM. Care.com is a fraudulent company who scams customers by charging your credit card a membership fee for a list of names of health attendants, nannies, eldercare workers. In addition regardless if you access or hire anyone on their list of home attendants your credit card is charged annually without your permission or knowledge for at least 3years. Stay away from this site! Care.com is a complete scam and a waste of your time. This is why: 1) I signed up for a one-month subscription and Care.com kept making unauthorized charges afterwads without my authorization. It took me weeks to cancel my request to cancel a subscription I did not make. 2) I tried to activate a Premium subscription offered through my employer in my exisiting account. It turned out that Care.com system is neither capable of applying that benefit not would any of the 3 **************** representative... read more

I cancelled my subscription. It actually said: "subscription cancelled". I was automatically charged for 2 more months. When I complained it said there was a procedure one has to go though to cancel even though the above is stated in red. In addition, they provide no telephone number and the one I found after searching on- line directs you back to their website.

I thought I was purchasing a month access and apparently purchased a year. I was completely unaware that this also automatically signed me up for a renewing yearly membership with no notice. I was not able to find care and didnt use this company for the entire year I paid. I saw the bill for the next year and tried to get a refund and they first tried to refund all but $80 and when I said I wanted to be fully refunded they said I was ineligible for a refund. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend at all.

I signed up for a one year membership two years ago. First issue: I was not aware I was also signing up for auto renewal. Second issue: in 2023, I was charged for the auto renewal without ever being informed in advance of the impending renewal. Third issue: I never received a receipt for my renewal. Fourth issue: the exact same thing happened in 2024 as in 2023, which I am luckily able to dispute via credit card company. However, Care.com was not helpful at all.
