Unjustified business practices. Keep charging your credit card after you have canceled subscription.

Don't! Just don't! They're out to get your money and impossible to communicate with - Horrid customer service. Having a problem? That's your problem. I wasted so much time trying to sign up. Their website is not friendly. The app is definitely not friendly. I initlially began the sign-up process on my laptop. The website advertised $18.99 for one year of basic service. That was supposed to include the background check. AFTER I gave my credit card info (which I SO regret now), it showed a QR code and said to download the app ... read more

I can not recommend this website to find providers for care. We used it in the hopes of locating someone to do light housekeeping for a family member with ALS. After providing credit card details for 1 month, we were able to message providers -- we thought. It turns out after speaking to someone at Care that you must create a "job" for providers to apply to. I did not understand that, nor did the instructions make that clear to me at first. I liked using it but then they charged me for "Carecheck" after I cancelled my subscription.

First, my father was ill two and a half years ago, and I needed a caregiver, got two caregiver responses, one of the people who responded seemed like a caregiver, but was not entirely honest and was actually a representative of an agency. So I gave up. Then my father passed and I did not realize my account was perpetual and never received any notification of on-going membership, no communication of any kind, not even a regular member email. This company is completely unscrupulous. Without my authorization, they renewed my subscription and deducted over $200 from my credit card and refused to reverse the charge. Please read the rest of the other reviews regarding this company. Do not waste your time or money with them. They are thieves!

Care.com is not the same. I have used it for jobs since 2012. No customer service anymore. You have to chat. The person couldn't give me a phone number to contact a live person. I was advised to look at my billing statement for the number. I did. The number instructed me back to the app and hung up on me. I am simply attempting to renew my background check. They create fake jobs to make it appear there are more opportunities when there really arent. There is no direct phone number to ask for help and the care team in the chat are not helpful at all. I have screenshots of these fake jobs. Dont waste your time here

Care.com has an outdated list of care givers whose phone is not in service or message are not answered or a few who returned call said they were not looking for work currently.Care charges continue even though I received no service. After a week I determined this was an organization that was not organized or they just promise with out delivering. It just a site for people to post they want work. No support, no feedback, you cannot contact them by phone, email.
