I would give this company - stars if I could. I have never used that app and a whole year later it pulls about $20 out of my bank account which I didnt even know was on file anywhere. I reached out to customer service about this issue and I was told that a manager would be emailing me to give me a refund and received nothing. I reached out again the next day to inform them that I never received an email and they sent me a confirmation number saying that I was on the list and that management would be reaching out to me to giv... read more

There is an associated annual screening fee required with a Basic membership, which contributes to our ongoing investment in the safety of our community, and this fee is non-refundable. Back in 2023 I paid $431 for me to get complete reviews are caregivers. Unfortunately my mom pasted away in July 2023. I never received notice from Care.com about a renewal for service. I found out from my checking account. If you have paid for services that you never used, please make sure you cancel your payment information with them. I had the bank to research this and they came back and said they were authorized. This was not true!!! So now Im out of $862 which was a waste of time and money. I contacted Care.com and paid for one month of service...I plugged in all of the information so that I could get a list of care givers. ..the responses that I recieved were...."sorry but you live to far away" or I didn't get a response at all. I'm requesting a full refund. I would suggest that you ask the people that are applying to work, how many miles they are willing to travel!!!

I was charged $77.97 for quarterly membership when it said the fee would be $25.99. I want to cancel and get reimbursed. It has been less than 24 hours. Please refund my money. This is bad business practice on your part.

I find Care.com's business practices to be very deceptive. Like many on-line services, there is a subscription fee that will renew over time. There is no email or in-app notification that your subscription is about to auto-renew. Funds are just deducted from your account. It is the responsibility of the end-user to REMEMBER when their subscription will renew. Care.com is inflexible with their policy on no refunds on subscription fees. Should be investigated as a criminal organization. The recurring charges are ridiculous and they make it nearly impossible to cancel. They were even able to continue to charge after I cancelled the card. How is that even possible? Avoid care.com at all costs.

Ripped off today. 3 requests to cancel everything. Its not a one step process. Still have no confirmation of final cancellation.

Care.com is a scam company that is backed by lots of money with which no regular citizen can afford to compete in the legal arena. A class action lawsuit should be brought against them.Here is why they are a scam:1) When you need to reset a forgotten password, it is near impossible to create a new one. You must devote time and energy that most people do not have.
