Care.com is an absolutely scam! I paid for a premium membership after posting an ad looking for a babysitter since you cant message any applicants without doing so. Less than 2 weeks into the month I paid for they suspended my account without reason. I go back to work in less than 2 weeks and now have no way of finding someone to care for my son. I cant get anyone on the phone to figure out why my account was suspended and based on other reviews I doubt Id be refunded even if I did.

You can't talk to a human unless you order the premium subscription. I am so sorry that I signed up for this as a tutor provider. I will not be using this service and am now out who knows what they are going to charge my card. At least I turned off the automatic renewal on my Iphone. Providers BEWARE. A friend of mine uses this service as a nanny provider so I thought it was okay BUT it's only okay if you give them the premium amount which is ridiculous. Plus, they get all your personal information.

I used care.com to find a care giver. We opted to use HomePay to assure that the person was paid and the taxes came out. After the period of employment I attempted to unsubscribe. that wasn't getting paid. We are busy people, and we didn't notice immediately. At first the caregiver tried to stop it, since she was being erroneously paid. They stopped paying her and continued to remove additional hundreds of dollars from my mother's account, which my brother noticed month's later. They store your card details and keep charging you without ever letting you know that they do. Stay away! They refused me a refund and I was charged hundreds of dollars. Terrible customer service.

Have tried to reach out numerous times to get a cancellation on subscription because they have me locked into it cannot unsubscribe. They emailed me and told me they were suspending my account and dont give me way to talk to anybody on the phone. If you look up their address, and find a phone number for the office its disconnected. Having to file a report with my bank about this. The app is not even able to be used aside from the fact that theyre suspending it because its filled with so many bugs not user-friendly. They are ... read more

I am a caregiver on the website. I've had an account up for about a year. I've noticed a few things happen with my account over time, but I stayed with the company just to see if things would change. For example, I would get a notification for a job & 9/10 not get it even if I immediately respond. I constantly get messages to respond to a request after I responded to it in a timely fashion which decreases my response rate. I feel that that is purposely done. I believe there is only an option to do auto renew for their services every month. I tried to cancel multiple time through various pathways and still got charged monthly. It wasnt until I had my credit card company block all transactions from them that this stopped. They also assigned a caregiver to me that I hadnt agreed to. It takes multiple weeks to months to get a response via email for any concerns and the person responding clearly doesnt read the complaint to give an appropriate response.

IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL AND THEY KEEP BILLING FOR A NON-EXISTENT ACCOUNT. I have not had an account since 2018 and they have been billing me consistently since then. When I try to log on I am told there is no account and i have no way of reaching them because I can't log on (obviously). Glad I found this number from the Better Business Bureau. I will call and if I get no response, I will consult an attorney. Suggest you STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
