Without any heads up, email, notification, or even the ABILITY to find a renewal date they charged me a renewal fee. I contacted customer service and they refused to refund and close the account or do anything to help me out. The app is absolutely awful and unusable. Awful company and awful customer service.

It's impossible to cancel charges from this company as a caregiver. I have tried cancelling my account with them multiple times and no longer have a paid subscription, yet I am still getting charged annually for background checks. Here's the kicker though, you *cannot contact Care.com unless you pay for a membership plan.* There is no option to call or email them as a caregiver unless you give them more money to upgrade to a monthly subscription. I am a small business owner and I am very careful about where and what we are subscribing to, care.com's representative reached out to us about a summer promotion to try there services only for a $1. She confirmed over multiple emails that the cost is only $1 for trying their service for businesses for 1 month. Before signing up with these folks, make sure that you understand that your membership automatically renews at the end of the year without notification. And, they make it extremely difficult to contact them and to cancel. Multiple steps and not obvious ones. This feels deceptive to me.
Horrible website they block me with no way to appeal I don't know why they just stopped messaging me but they didn't give me my money back for my year subscription.
I signed up for a trial subscription years ago. The company continued to charge me even though I never used the subscription, and worse, they didn't tell me about charging me -- except initially in 2015. There is no way to contact the company in person, or even send a message. I would not recommend using Care.com, but if you do, keep a close eye on your credit card statement.
People register, they look at your request and see if it is in their area and come. Care.com does nothing!

Care.com stole half a year's worth of our annual membership subscription, and canceled my account with an ability to appeal. Why? Because I changed my account name from my name to my partner's. When I spoke with customer support, they stated that I should have added both my name AND my partner's. Oddly, their instructions apparently also directly violate the *** guidelines they quoted. Horrible customer service. The website has had issues with the messaging since i signed up. Messaging not working means I cannot use the website service which i paid over $50.00 for. **************** was unable to help or give a refund. If they arent able to provide a service they should offer a refund. What a horrible website and waste of money.
