Terrible experience. Initial sign up says the subscription is monthly but you can pay for the year up front and can cancel any time. Straight up lie. They will NOT refund you under any circumstances. Half the nannies don't respond to your messages. Avoid at all costs.

In summary, my wife created an account for us to find a cleaner, and she purchased a monthly plan (for $38.95) + unlimited backgrounds (for $20) about a week ago. Fast forward to today, and we were about to hire a cleaner, but I wanted her to pass a criminal background test first. Do not pay for this service. They don't have a large database of caregivers and some are questionable (asking me to get paid in cash only as no work permit). Their site is not that user friendly (e.g. worker area not available) also, but the number one reason to not sign up is their billing practices. your service is a total scam. You present that the caregivers have completed background checks, then charge for those background checks.You dont tell customers that you have to prepay for the services before the work is done, and that the customer doesn't get to interview or screen the selected caregivers before you charge my credit card.Then you post all over the website several times that you bear no responsibility for the caregivers. So you're a broker? Total scam.

Do not ever use this company! This company is a big SCAM!!! Beware they will charge you $300 up front for a membership you don't even want! When you go to cancel said membership they will cancel your subscription after a year....... if you actually make sure they don't resubmit you for another year. HORRIBLE business. A giant scam that charges you whenever they want, then tell you “it’s in the policy that we don’t give refunds”. So I tried to get my account deleted, they said they’d leave it open until the subscription was done…a year later. Reached out to get it deleted AGAIN, and was dropped from the chat box. Absolutely disgusting company and customer service. Do not waste your time and money!!!

Terrible platform. Its very hard to connect with matches and they enroll you in a subscription service with vague parameters and its impossible to cancel. When I try to reach out to cancel it was super hard to get a hold of anyone. The app is awful to use too.

Single mom looking for help in the morning with my kids. Budgeting my money I agreed to the 12.95 a month and it charged my card 150 which made it impossible to make it another day. That was all I had. Care.com is a scam I will be taking legal precautions

Terrible service and will charge you even after you cancel their “subscription” Even when it says you will not be charged and you provide that information, including screenshots to reps and supervisors and no one cares and they just say that is “their policy” absolutely terrible customer support and consideration.
