Care has a terrible algorithm. Its brought people who lie on the website. Would not use again.

We signed up for a care.com subscription five years ago to find a nanny for our daughter. We were unsuccessful. I just noticed that they have been charging us $55.10 every six months without notification ever since. Not one email saying "We've charged you for the next six months". Nothing. These shady crooks charged us $550 for an account that we didn't realize we still had.

I have been with Care.com several years. In early February I was in the process of being hired by a Family when C.C performed my annual **********! Since February 4th, I have not been able to respond to any families after being told it would take 5-7 Business days to complete their check!!!Still not working, lost that position, sitting with NO way to rectify the problem. The response I received was they were happy to cancel my subscription..... UGGGGG Not good Business in today's times.

They closed my account and won't give me a reason why and I upheld all of their guidelines so it makes you wonder who was upset for whatever reason and then can just ruin it for you when you are totally legitimate.

I own a cleaning business as signed up for a month to recruit cleaners to work for me. I got a care recruiting solutions membership that cost $150 for the month. I would advise any businesss thinking of using this service to think twice. I contacted cleaners I liked by sending them a message telling them that i was looking for cleaners who needed work and if they were interested to let me know. Waste of time and money. One person hired showed up high. Second person hired was unable to do job as described and, after she left, sent me a long, critical rant. Then, someone interested in job withdrew application after I wanted to do a background check. Second person interested became outraged and angry and attacking after I asked to do a background check. Deceitful business. The website offered me a premium membership that supposedly includes the benefit of paying housekeepers online. Then, after I paid $50 for the premium membership, there was no way to pay the housekeeper on the website. I contacted customer service and they told me I will have to pay the housekeeper cash in person. I asked for a manager and was told one would get back to me but no one ever did. I had cancelled my subscription with care.com back in July ************************************************* since then. I logged in to the account to find a number to call - was able to submit an email complaining and get the phone number from my credit card company. I was told they couldn't refund me and I asked to escalate the a manager - was told they weren't available and they'd call me back. 4 business days later - no call back and they closed my email case saying it was completed. Care.com continued to charge us a monthly fee of $58.95 even though we cancelled months ago. Got no where with their customer service.Even incurred charges of $10, $20 and dont know what those charges are regarding.
