I have mixed feelings about this service. Last year I was able to find a reliable person but their situation changed which required that I find a new caregiver. I've reached out to over a dozen caregivers on their website who are listed as available. Half of them told me they weren't available and the other half never bothered to respond. I'm not sure what I paid for but it has been of no help.

I was able to hire several in-home caregivers through the site, so it does achieve it's basic goal of facilitating that sort of thing. But all in all, it's an atrociously bad website. It is slow, it is unintuitive, the site modifies (or even removes) your messages based on criteria that are impossible to find out (Examples: you cannot send a phone number in the first 2 or 3 DMs, but you can afterwards; if you put any words that a particularly bad AI might thing are private information in the job description it will simply de... read more

I was locked out of my care.com account with no explanation literally ten minutes after I signed up for the premium service in order to message sitters. I contacted customer service to get a refund and an explanation, because what sane person wants to pay $30 to use a platform for all of ten minutes and then be kicked out against their will? I've used this service twice to find childcare for my kids. I was able to find care both times, but after trying to cancel my subscription I was continually charged for services. The first time I was billed one extra payment 6 month later. This time to make sure that didn't happen again I completely cancelled my account. I'm still being charged every 6 months. Don't be fooled by the "contact us" link. The phone number goes to a recording that leads you back to the website and the email link never replys.I'm now having to go ... read more

In December 2023, I encountered a confusing situation with the subscription rates. They were displayed in a manner that suggested they were prorated monthly, leading me to believe I was signing up for a monthly plan. Zero stars. This company steals from you. Never used their services once and was just charged $155 a year later after signing up

BE WARNED!! Their customer service is HORIBLLEEEEEEE. Like talking to a wall, you get no where and the are absolutely NOOOOO help at all!!!!? I have been waiting a MONTH for a reimbursement from them. I cant even tell you how many times Ive called. I was told 2 weeks ago it would be done in 2 days. Shocker! It wasnt. This company is nothing but thieves and scum. They keep billing my account even though they cancelled my membership for no reasoning and locked me out. They like to bill your card without access to any services rendered. I will be pursuing legal action.
