NEVER EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES HIRE THIS COMPANY (Care.com) . I have so many times tried to cancel my subscription. I used them for one month and they have still continued to charge me. You cannot get a hold of anyone to stop them from stealing from you. I have now paid 59 months from their theft. Untrustworthy thieves. 0 stars if I could.

Caregiver Registries are licensed and regulated in the **************** by AHCA ******************************************* Care.com is circumventing these regulations which compromises Seniors and the families who use this service. The service is illegal, unlicensed, unsupervised & illegitimate. I ask that any response to this review include how they are legally allowed and able to operate an unlicensed Nurse Registry in the ****************.

The actual worst user experience, plus the price of the membership PLUS the high per hour booking service fee is totally ridiculous. So so many issuesthey just didnt pay my person one time (and I can see on my account where it says it was canceled or something AFTER the babysitting gig was already finished? Weird). Then another time the other person canceled on me and it charged me for canceling and wouldnt refund me. Honestly it was the most bizarrely bad customer experience Ive had. Most of these companies are very helpful... read more

Care.com is very misleading. The caregivers are not actually background checked, you have to pay extra above the cost of membership, to order a criminal background check on a caregiver. They say they do a check of their social security number, but they won't give you the results or say what the criteria for "passing" the background check are. Also, the caregiver rates are much higher than other similar sites. This may be because some of the money paid to caregivers through care.com is taken by care.com. A fee is also paid by... read more

Im no longer doing business with Care, and it is not that they did anything wrong, its just since I dont need medical attention and Instacart for groceries and Poplin for laundry are more appropriate

I used Care.com from October-December while we were interviewing nannies. We hired one in December and I cancelled my Premium account. Somehow, my account was reactivated and I was charged for a Premium account in January. I emailed the Care.com support team to address this issue and they said I wasn't 'eligible' for a refund. They've essentially stolen my money, and I am puzzled why my account was cancelled then suddenly reactivated and charged. I am going after them with as hard as I can and, what, over $38? It's the princ... read more

I tried care.com hoping to get someone to help me once a week to get my house in order. It would mean the word to me!But..It seems the caretakers list a price then once you talk to them they start telling you they also want extra for gas and they need more hrs.So sadly Im unable to keep my place caught up on things and now its a mess in here and even the fridge needs cleaned out.

Care.com is the worst company to deal with! That is if you can get ahold of them. They took our payment then wouldnt release it to our care person. We tried to have them cancel the payment so we could directly pay our care person but they wouldnt do that either. The payment just sat there So we paid our caregiver directly, closed our care.com account and they never did anything with that payment! It made no sense! Their customer service was terrible.

I have been ripped off. They automatically signed me up for premium. I asked them to cancel and they continued to bill my credit card. They say I dont qualify for a refund. Then who does???? I have reported them to my credit card company. I will sing from the highest mountain that these people are thieves. They are difficult to get a hold of and very hard to communicate with. They also will not cancel your account. Seems they think you are theirs for life. I want nothing associated with care.com except my money back.
