Do not use this business! I signed up as a premium client and upon signing up I made a mistake and clicked a button for unlimited background checks. It was a real mistake, I contacted care.com to explain and after having my account reviewed, it was declined. So I was charged over $50 for something I had not used and do not plan on using. I will tell everyone that I know as well. It's ****, there are so many other options. I can not believe companies are doing business like this!

I found care.com difficult to navigate. I was having a party and wanted to hire 2-3 sitters to help watch the kids, but their parents would be on premise. I know this is a strange ask, and so I wanted to interview a few hand selected people. Care blasted a bunch of folks I was not interested in and gave the job to the first who "accepted it." I had to awkwardly cancel them. The auto renew is also a underhanded feature designed to trick customers.

I wrote a review on somebody I hired and posted it and it never showed up on her profile and so I tried to post it again and I got the message that it was already submitted but it was not visible. And she tried to contact somebody numerous times but Could never get through . Bad customer service

I recently signed up for a basic monthly membership. I was charged for a full year membership instead at $179. ******** care on chat and email were unhelpful and refused to give a refund. Im very disappointed and for this reason I will no longer be using them for my childcare needs.

I wish I'd read reviews before I signed up for care.com. I have seen other caregivers recommend care.com, and several say they were successful in finding a caregiver through the site, so that was all, I guess, I needed to sign up. I made an account, put up an ad requesting companion care for my loved one, and waited. I got several responses very quickly, only to learn that you have to pay in order to communicate with the applicants. No refunds. That was also how I learned the hourly rates of the applicants. Here is my review which I'm posting everywhere. @Care.com has The worst customer service and stole my $$ 2 years in a row!!In ******************************************************************************************************************************* 2023 I was charged again and re-cancelled my membership and got "confirmation the account was cancelled. Total scam. Paid $$$ without a single job. Everything is non-refundable and they AUTOMATICALLY ENROLL YOU FOR AUTO-RENEW!! ****************** is a total joke. They won't do anything to help or refund you, even with zero jobs. Stay away! I hope a competitor comes along and puts them out of business. It wouldn't be difficult.

The good news is that we found a good caregiver for my mother from care.com.The bad news ... I signed up for ONE month of their services and just discovered they have been billing $58 per month for about 5 months. We have been overcharged by over $200. I tried to contact a customer service rep about this and there is no way that I can find to speak with a live person. I tried chatting this information, but the message failed to send.

Care.com is a waste of money. There is no refund no matter what. Every care giver wanted to bring their kids. The day I signed up was the same day I wanted a refund. No one returned message because they were no longer on the app but care.com never removed the people who were no longer using care.com. It was such a big mistake. I've already canceled for next year since I can't get a refund I'm stuck with this pointless subscription.
