The good news is that we found a good caregiver for my mother from care.com.The bad news ... I signed up for ONE month of their services and just discovered they have been billing $58 per month for about 5 months. We have been overcharged by over $200. I tried to contact a customer service rep about this and there is no way that I can find to speak with a live person. I tried chatting this information, but the message failed to send.

Care.com is a waste of money. There is no refund no matter what. Every care giver wanted to bring their kids. The day I signed up was the same day I wanted a refund. No one returned message because they were no longer on the app but care.com never removed the people who were no longer using care.com. It was such a big mistake. I've already canceled for next year since I can't get a refund I'm stuck with this pointless subscription.

They have deceptive business practices. They market themselves as a free service but after you create an account and find a caregiver, you are told out that you cant contact them unless you pay $20 per month but can cancel anytime. I therefore bought a subscription but they charge for a year up front so you cant really cancel until after a year. Worse, I thought I was clicking just a continue button but it was actually for additional services that I dont need at a cost of almost $200 and they refuse to refund.

Care.com is total junk and a waste of money. Not user friendly at all. I do not recommend.

this is a horrible site-they will steal your money. you may cancel it but they keep charging you secretly even once a year $20 in Jan no invoice email or reminder do not use this company nly way to get rid of them from charging you is deleting and closng your account

the first cleaning girl ******************* stole from me and I couldn't get a hold of Care to tell them, the second cleaning girl I have now is a gem, love her and her work.

Went online to check out care.com to see what they had to offer. Said I had to pick a plan so I picked monthly plan. They ended up charging my credit card for $334.50 for a 1 year subscription before I even took a look at what they had to offer. I cancelled immediately after seeing what they charge my card for. Now being told by customer service that the money I was charged to take a look is non-refundable and they will cancel my subscription a year from now? Totally dishonest business, I've never heard of anything like this... read more

This site used to be super helpful for caregivers looking to find work. I've used them for the past couple of years however in recent years the company has really gone downhill and gotten pretty unethical. They used to charge nothing for a basic membership which allowed caregivers to apply to jobs and then when applying you had the option to pay a one time fee for a background check. I am trying to upgrade my account from monthly to yearly and could not do it through the portal so I reached out over chat. I was met with representative ************** who was condescending in tone. I simply want to pay care.com more but need to jump through many hoops to be able to do that. As a working mom who is seeking care for her child, I don't have time to meet all of the needs of care.com's process to upgrade.
