Care.com is a scam. Their providers are not qualified and have out of date profiles. I have spent weeks trying to find a reliable provider with no hope. They will not refund the yearly membership fee, even if their site has no value.

I will not use this company again. It is absurd they think they can take a stance and claim no refunds on a yearly subscription.

Terrible, unreliable caregivers! Dont try! Ask your physician for recommendations!

AVOID THEM Care.com is a bad company and I'm sure will be out of business soon. I enrolled to try the service, but the experience was essencially "give the credit card, make the payment, and then the company let you alone, in a service where safety is a priofity"The core business of the company should be "provide a caregiver service in a safe environment", but they are opposed to that. I wish I could leave negative stars for them. Unfortunately, my company uses Care.com's services that is supposed to be to the benefit of us/their employees. I am due $200 in reimbursement for pet care that I submitted the claim for 2 months ago. They told me that they are cutting a check for monies owed, but it still has not arrived. They are unresponsive to the emails that I send when requesting updates. I am assured that my calls/emails will be returned, and they are not. I was told that "they are behind." This used to be a legit company. Now they just charge people who signed up previously and I haven't found a way to login to my account or contact anyone to get them to stop. Extremely frustrating.

The website services do not function as advertised. Their policies are steeped against the users. The $20 unlimited background check you can add to your subscription is a complete scam. They list all the data you can receive with the service like driving records, criminal records, *** offender records etc. You don't get any of that. The information they give you is a checkbox stating "this caregiver passes our background check" and if you want more information they will require sensitive identity information from you. Yes there is no customer service. You CANNOT reach them. Don't subscribe to their subscription. They dont send you invoice so you dont remember to cancel. Unprofessional way to keep subscription.

This company is a complete scam. Believe these reviews here. Care.com will ******* you out of money and they do not care. Very shady and terrible customer service. They charged me for a membership on an "auto-renew" that was swt to expire 12/18/23 but they ran it early on a saturday morning on 12/9/23 and I immediately contacted them and they will not let me cancel my account, they refuse to refund me, I didn't get any kind of reminder or notification or receipt of the charge (my credit card notified me), they used an expire... read more
