HORRIBLE business. A giant scam that charges you whenever they want, then tell you “it’s in the policy that we don’t give refunds”. So I tried to get my account deleted, they said they’d leave it open until the subscription was done…a year later. Reached out to get it deleted AGAIN, and was dropped from the chat box. Absolutely disgusting company and customer service. Do not waste your time and money!!!

Terrible platform. Its very hard to connect with matches and they enroll you in a subscription service with vague parameters and its impossible to cancel. When I try to reach out to cancel it was super hard to get a hold of anyone. The app is awful to use too.

Single mom looking for help in the morning with my kids. Budgeting my money I agreed to the 12.95 a month and it charged my card 150 which made it impossible to make it another day. That was all I had. Care.com is a scam I will be taking legal precautions

Terrible service and will charge you even after you cancel their “subscription” Even when it says you will not be charged and you provide that information, including screenshots to reps and supervisors and no one cares and they just say that is “their policy” absolutely terrible customer support and consideration.

CRAZY expensive and impossible to cancel - BE AWARE. BEWARE.The service itself is pretty good, in theory. I have been a member in the past, too, and years ago when I was first a member I had much better luck using the service to find people to assist in the categories I selected. This time it wasn't a great tool as only two or three people responded. One set a date/time to come and then was a no show. Do not sign up for this. It is a SCAM. I paid for a one month subscription and then I cancelled it. they have been charging me $38.95/month for 12 months. My bank can't do anything about it and there is no number to call unless you pay MORE money for a premium subscription. Wish I could leave ZERO STARS.

I am housekeeper for 25 years ready to retire soon ,I had used care.com about 15 years ago when it was free and you could write post about your service.No job ever worked out as the would be clients never really were interested in hiring as the same with Home Advisor .That what happens when the would be clients do not need to pay for their posts looking for services but workers looking for leads do. Care.com has deceiving and fraudulent practices!! When one attempts to use the service as a consumer, the website is set up to make you believe that you have to have a "premium Membership." They then give you the option of month by month payment or annual upfront. However, they charged me two unauthorized separate amounts of $194.85 and $140.07 on the same day!! No caregivers respond. Waste of money. The one who did responded at 1am from **********. We live in ***********. We used the site for less than a week and are not getting refunded for the 3 months we paid in advance. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. WE HAD AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE! Instead reach out to your schools parent group. We have found 3 sitters today.
