The sign up process is designed to trick you. After your initial payment, they autorenew your subscription WITHOUT ever sending you any kind of notification about renewal or a transaction receipt. Once you notice, they refuse to refund anything and point to their terms of service. Of course, it is technically my fault for not noticing this sooner but it's a scummy business practice and you should stay far away from this company. They charged me $320 for a service I never knew I was signed up for still.
It's ok if you want to a difficult time using a web site. If you don't need help for anything!! It's not to be found. I just waisted over 2 hours trying to get help>. It's terrible!!!!!!!!!
Do everything in your power to avoid this company. Do not give them your credit card, do not give them any info. They will charge you for a subscription you didn't sign up for and then refuse to refund or pro-rate. Do anything you can to not give them money.
Substandard business with shady practices. I used care.com in July. The applicants they sent me had no references or relevant experience. After 1 week I downgraded my account in the settings so I would not be billed for another month. In November I saw they had been billing me $49/month, despite my downgrade. This app is complete garbage! Doesn't work with my ipad. Going to my bank since I can't get refund of $25. Don't waste your money.
I have used your service for more than twenty five years and it is impossible to sign in 50%of the time. I know my password I need the information you already have in the program. Your program is a nightmare. I try and again it just doesnt work . The funds from a care.com babysitting job were never deposited in my account. Its been three days now of them reviewing it. Unbelievable. Unfortunately I cannot accept anymore jobs because as of now I babysat for free. Sad.
They automatically sign their members up for auto renewal. But, then a year later, they do not send an email saying the membership it renewing and your credit card will be charged. Most reputable companies do this. I called just hours after the pending charge went on my credit card and they would not cancel or refund my account.
