They automatically sign their members up for auto renewal. But, then a year later, they do not send an email saying the membership it renewing and your credit card will be charged. Most reputable companies do this. I called just hours after the pending charge went on my credit card and they would not cancel or refund my account. Totally unreliable. Pet sitter cancelled at last minute use and I had to upgrade to premium to even read her cancellation text. **************** wasn't a total waste but not really helpful. They did change my membership from yearly to monthly so I was able to cancel, which I appreciated. I would never recommend this service. I would advise against using them.

Misleading services. Paid for a month and upon subscription found that the there were no qualified candidates available. Also, I paid $20 for a background check at checkout, but it was not disclosed to me that Care.com already did a standard check for which there is no charge.

Continued to charge me after I had cancelled my account. Impossible to find contact information on website to speak with someone about these issues. They say on their website in the legal section they will not do refunds - clearly a shady business practice that will refuse to refund when they have not provided the appropriate service.

As a business we signed up with care.com to market our preschool. We were told that we should see enrollment of ever 1 out of 10 or 1 out of 20 families that contact us through their website. Out of 98 families I have contacted we have gotten 2 enrollments. Most of the families we never get a response from, or they were looking to be called. Complete waste of money! I paid for the upgrade to find child care and did the 3 months for $78. Somehow ended up being charged for a background check for $60 and another charge for $12 and I didnt even find a caregiver. I thought it was going to charge me if I had found a care giver that would be fine but not before you find one. I realize I do live in a more rural area, but hardly any applicants to choose from and the ones I contacted all at first said they would be able to help me and then said unavailable when date needed drew ******* Glad I only signed up for one month so only lost @$40 and got nothing!

You need to pay for **** services if you want to get work! Im not a paying customer, nor will I ever be. And my profile gets buried at the bottom of the list of care providers in a my given geographic area. And when someone does stumble upon me, they say Im the best candidate they have seen because I have four 5 star reviews. None of the other candidates had reviews at all.
