They charged me $400 for *************** and background check. I clicked for one and not the other they charged me anyway. I canceled it but it wasnt cancelled. They said they cancelled it but didnt. I had to change the credit card.

No oversight on care providers. I tried to call today to lodge a complaint and was unable. First sitter- cancelled meet and greet last minute for a cat emergency. I tried to reschedule with her, she never responded. Second sitter- messaged to cancel sit two hours before start time because she "missed the bus." Her profile says she has a car. Weve had an account for over 10 years but as soon as they Took our money for a year subscription this month they cancelled our subscription the next day claiming a policy violation and refused to even address the refund of $166+. The company refuses to address the issue of money in email and Denies access to live chat if you do not have a paid subscription (which we paid but is not recognized by care.com). Predatory business; beware.

You can open a profile, but can't contact caregiver without paying. Signed up for a one month membership for $33. A month later they charged me an additional $41 and said that is a recurring rate since I hadn't cancelled. I never signed up for recurring.

They are freaking horrible! We hired a girl named ******* on care.com and she "watched" my dad who is in late stage dementia for 2 days, she brought her infant child each time, walked around with her b****** hanging out to feed the child. Both days she helped herself to tons and tons of food. Only fed my dad 1 piece of toast for the entire day while she ate, cereal, eggs, toast, sandwich and any leftovers in the fridge. I never used their services and cancelled membership (have email proof). A year later theyve tried to debit my account for another worthless year subscription. No way to contact, have had to involve my bank now. They should be ashamed of trying to take advantage of people. I would leave zero stars if possible.

I had a random booking show up with a caregiver. I was notified less than 24 hrs before the booking and they charged me $20 for canceling with less than 24 hrs notice. It happened again the next week. I went to customer service and was placed with someone named ****. I spent an hour explaining to him I never placed a job for the date specified, and during that hour the website created the jobs that weren't listed before I called in.
