They charged me over $120 for premium membership and background check. But downgraded BOTH my services without telling me. They only provided me $60 refund, but still charged me $60 without providing me any paid services. Be aware!!!
It would be a challenge to find a worse service provider. They prey on people when they are at their most vulnerable, make them sign up for expensive subscriptions that are impossible to cancel, and then fails to actually provide backup care, or even notify you when your confirmed backup care cancels. Truly, truly awful.
A terrible web site. I am being charged even though I have canceled my membership. I had to have premium member ship to chat with anyone. I am being billed even though I have canceled membership. There is no customer service number. How do I reach you ? Why does my status say active when I have canceled my membership ?
Horrible company. I just found out they have been charging my credit card $45 a month for the past year. I canceled this account last year and can't even get a phone number to speak with someone. This is a disgrace how they take advantage of people.
I downgraded my account in February of 2022 after I found the sitter I needed for my son. Not sure what Care.com was doing on the backend - I guess switching it back to premium? They continued to charge me $41 a month, without my knowledge, and now refuse to refund any charges. Incredibly frustrating. Steering clear of Care.com for any future care needs, what a nightmare.
I used care.com as a daycare provider looking for families in need of childcare. I experienced the overwhelming number of spam clients who did not respond by phone or email after I was notified that they were looking for childcare. I received another large amount of parents who were looking for a child here 6 to 9 months out I would not recommend care.com. Do not waste your money or your time using this website. Care.com is a truly evil company. If youre facing a family emergency and scrambling for a caregiver like I was, do not rush into using Care.com, it isnt worth it. Its hard enough to go through what youre going through without feeling taken advantage of by this company.Ive never even thought about writing a review like this and I hope to never do it again. They illegally charge people, the suspend your membership for no reason, you have to PAY to talk to customer service? What?! Absolutely terrible company
You have to purchase an "upgrade" to be able to talk or email someone in customer service on **********************???! What kind of service is that?? The website doesn't function right either. Absolute junk
